bc like, chris is not dumb and he's older now. i just think it would be so funny if he had this notion in his head that buck and eddie used to date. IT WOULD BE SO HILARIOUS.

Anytime the show needs a dramatic arc, or a bad guy, they do a pretty good job of going back through past seasons and plucking out a person.

We're going on four years, but I still think it would be interesting if Eddie crossed paths with the fight promoter from the street fighting arc.

We have no idea if his whole operation was shut down after Eddie called the cops and they started an investigation. Did the guy lose a ton of money?

Does he see Eddie at a scene and just....hatches plans.

Or what about the guy he almost killed? I bet Eddie's face is burned into memory. The other fighter guy is still struggling with hard times, and he sees the dude who not only sent him to a hospital that racked up a big medical bill, but maybe cost him a bet that was his 'ticket' out of a jam?

How dare this guy be walking around happy as a clam after he kicked bone cartilage into his freaking sinus cavity-- that still gives him hell to this day.

Give me Eddie targeted by a big bad...and the team racing to figure out who put Eddie in the hospital. Could you imagine the emotion??

Athena tracking the baddie down, Bobby right there with her. Bobby who has a fiery side when you hurt one of his family.

We finally see the team work together when they discover Eddie in his crashed car or crumpled mess at his home. Hen and Chim pulling out all the stops to save his life.

Buck at his bedside! The freaking will reveal...

No. No is the only word in his head. Nothing else. No over and over again. It can’t be happening. He’s not okay. What sort of a question is that? No, no, no, he’s not okay. Nothing is okay.

There’s blood on his hands, on his face, his crisp white shirt. It’s sticky and smells like suffering and dying and it’s on his tongue. In his mouth, down his throat, in his body in a way it should not be because it’s not his. It’s not his, it doesn’t belong to him and it’s not supposed to be all over. It was sprayed and gushing and spilled all over the street, and it is not okay.

His hands are shaking. Everything’s blurry. There was a rush and a panic and frantic seconds that were both too fast and not fast enough. But what now? Adrenaline is a thing. It’s working, rushing through him, but there’s nothing he can do. He can’t breathe. How is he supposed to breathe? His heart is beating because it’s pounding and screaming against a cage inside him. But it’s ripped open. Bleeding onto pavement like a gunshot wound.

He’s not okay.

broke: buck and eddie cheat on their partners during the bachelor party and drunkenly kiss

woke: buck and eddie have a moment. they don’t kiss but they’re close, pressed up against each other as they throw their heads back in drunken laughter. the whole world seems to pause and they see each other with this sudden clarity for the first time. it’s interrupted by chim coming in but something happens that they can’t ignore.

bespoke: buck and eddie THINK they cheated on their partners, but they didn’t. they spend the next episode awkward around each other now that the absolute insanity of finding a kidnapped chim has died down. they feel horrible and they don’t know how to talk about it. buck mentions it to maddie and chim (the buckley-hans!!) one night and chimney’s like “what? you didn’t kiss eddie. you and eddie didn’t do anything out of your weird buck-and-eddie normal.” and buck…doesn’t know why the “oh” that comes out sounds so disappointed. maddie and chim share a look when buck clears his throat and smiles far too wide, changing the subject to newly wed life. eddie has a similar conversation with bobby and hen, similar realization, too, and bobby does his very best to keep eddie from panicking about it because what kind of person wants to cheat on their partner? bobby smiles and tells him it’s not his place to tell him what to feel, but when he walks away hen puts a hand on his shoulder and says, “for what it’s worth, eddie? no one makes buck happier than you. and no one makes you happier than buck.” boom feelings realization set up for s8 pining yessir
