Happy Anniversary. This is the original post. On this day in 2011 I was doing a charity drive for the natural disasters in Tōhoku and drew this. A few hours later I turned it into a gif and posted it here.

Here’s the original doodle before I drew it into a GIF

people without an internal monologue will never know the epic highs and lows of watching the same guy a lot in a short amount of time (youtuber/streamer/shows and movies etc) and then having your internal monologue sound like that guy for a bit

what a deal.

And then your hip would break because their medical staff is garage and they don’t have the same regulations as over so no you’re back to square one you fucking tool

that is american propaganda used to justify their lack of a working healthcare system. it’s not true and even if it was what good would having slightly better healthcare do if it’s only accessible by the richest members of society?

You absolute fucking clown. Lmao

Damn. Spains healthcare sure isnt garage like they said

hate it when my medical staff is garage

Man I’d get on HRT if the health care wasn’t garage

it doesnt make sense tho

navy blue was literally named for its use in the BRITISH ROYAL NAVY in the mid-1700’s

maroon is literally an evolution of french marron, meaning chestnut. its a brownish red. like a chestnut.

like, the kids making these memes need to take a fucking elective that isnt a sport. do teenage boys still think that “art is for fags” or something? learn colors, you sound stupid!!!!

This is like hilarious but also stop being pretentious, it’s a perfectly fair comparison to make. Navy blue = a darker and more desaturated blue and maroon = a darker and more desaturated red. The modifier “navy” is so disconnected enough from its roots that it makes sense for it to assume a new contextual meaning. Sure, the name comes from the British navy using it, but what we’re talking about is how it modifies a color.

i do not care how pretentious i sound, this joke is picking the lowest-hanging fruit ive ever seen. its LAZY.

it comes across as “haha look at this funny r/showerthoughts post i saw!!! so relatable, am i right fellow non-artists?”

its a low effort joke aimed at people who could not be paid to give a shit about trying any artistic medium, but lose their mind over a notebook sketch someone does in 15 minutes and scream “I WISH I COULD DRAW LIKE YOU” as if it doesnt take years of practice; like the artist was born with an “artistic gene” or some bullshit

all i ask is that people try just a little bit more to not sound dumb when theyre trying to be funny

This guy thinks it’s an insult to artists where as I’m pretty sure a sizable amount of the notes on this post  are artists saying ‘’YEAH THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!! NAVY RED!!’’

if you don’t know the name origin of every single color ever then you aren’t an artist

and mustard is navy yellow

the navy trifecta: navy blue, maroon, and mustard. this leads into a gateway to a whole new color spectrum: the navy color wheel

call it navy green to get some extra spicy opinions

dull indigo: navy blue

smokey violet: navy purple

maroon: navy red

brown: navy orange

mustard: navy yellow

army green: navy green :)

I'm gonna do the opposite of those shitty tiny fish bowl aquariums with one fish that's obviously too large to fit there. Getting a big-ass aquarium tank and fill it with pretty aesthetic plants, decorations and maybe a cool funky light source, and not a single fish in there. Every time someone visits and sees my cool tank and asks where the fishies are, I'll just say "they're around there somewhere, they probably heard you coming in so they're hiding. Maybe they'll come back out eventually."

But there never was a fish. The fish were never there.

Consider: huge elaborate tank and one tiny fish.

I just first need to make sure it's not a social one. And also every time when someone asks me why there aren't any more fish than just the one, I'll just say that I tried adding some, but that absolute monster keeps eating all of them.

When sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solution is added to luminol, a chemical reaction occurs that releases energy in the form of light. This is called chemiluminescence. The bleach solution acts as an oxidizing agent, which means it takes electrons away from the luminol molecule. This causes the luminol molecule to become excited, and it releases the energy as light.

🎥 Courtesy: Kendra Frederick

The luminol molecule is made up of two amino groups, a carbonyl group, and an azo group. The amino groups are electron-rich, while the carbonyl group is electron-poor. The azo group is a conjugated system, which means that the electrons in the double bonds can move freely from one atom to another.

When sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solution is added to luminol, the bleach molecules react with the amino groups of the luminol molecule. This reaction takes electrons away from the luminol molecule, which causes the luminol molecule to become oxidized. The oxidized luminol molecule is in an excited state, which means that it has more energy than it normally does.

The excited luminol molecule then releases the extra energy as light. This light is called chemiluminescence. The light emitted by the chemiluminescence reaction is blue because the luminol molecule has a blue fluorescence.

The chemiluminescence reaction between luminol and sodium hypochlorite is catalyzed by the presence of a metal ion, such as iron or copper. The metal ion helps to stabilize the excited state of the luminol molecule, which makes it more likely to release the extra energy as light.

The chemiluminescence reaction is very sensitive to impurities, so it is important to use pure chemicals. The reaction can also be affected by the pH of the solution. The optimal pH for the reaction is around 9.

The chemiluminescence reaction between luminol and sodium hypochlorite can be used to detect blood, as the iron in hemoglobin can catalyze the reaction. The reaction is also used in some commercial products, such as glow sticks and emergency lights.

I hope you enjoyed learning about this. ❤️🙏
