the king watches. careful not to upset the azgedian ward in his care, he has never understood how well things go. but he has little mind to say no to their queen, so he doesn’t mind the blonde girl being around, she’s no trouble, or no serious trouble. azgedians seemed to literally melt in the heat of the scorching sun, not that queens could blame them, more people died of sunstroke than they did reapers, war, or natural causes. but he looks up from the tunnel maps he’s planning to care for the child ( she’s not a real child but anyone younger than keepsie he often considers children ). “ how was sleep. ”
