Isolation, Broke style
@lau-simblr-ren Thought I would answer this with some pics, hope it helps.
I’m using the “Ritzy Wood Panelling” wall that came with Roaring Heights.
Top left pic is how it comes in game. I applied an EA paint pattern to it, as shown in pic 2, top right.
You’ll see you have two colour channels to play around with, select the first channel, select your colour and you see the result in pic 3. I usually just drag and drop the newly made colour straight on the the second colour channel to the right, and change it ever so slightly. Either slightly lighter or darker, or in this case, a little bluer. Hope you can see that?
When I’m happy with my colours, I then drag and drop the top newly created colour square on to the remaining 3 squares, if you want to colour the whole wall that is, which I did in this case. Seen in the last three pics.
The end result, I believe, gives you more of a textured look, or worn and old, whatever you think :)

Today I’m happy to release Praaven Reworked, a new version of Praaven by jje1000/potato-ballad-sims, edited by Simsmidgen and me. As usual this project took longer than expected. But with the help of our many fantastic testers all is well that ends well.
Simsmidgen and I tweaked some things more to our liking, replaced broken CC, reduced the overall amount of required CC, recoloured EA objects and/or replaced them, fixed major routing issues, reduced world size, replaced/fixed all those bloody arches and stacked staircases, thinned spawners, improved terrain painting (at least we think so). We added the two festival lots by lowrisim and tweaked them a bit and also made sure that the tomb can be solved (yes, there is a tomb, go looking for it!). We tried to leave the world as original as possible though (apart from the things that didn’t work well). Public release is with permission of potato-ballad-sims.
It was a true labour of love for @nornities and I, but well worth it.
Even if you have no interest in medieval game play, just have a look at it. It’s exceptionally beautiful, so please remember to first remove any lighting mods you may have installed.

Hello, folks! Here is a CC Free Trailer Park I have been working on for my own enjoyment for several weeks. It is best suited to desert worlds, especially Woeford! But you can place it anywhere you want! I hope you like it. I would love to see some pictures of your most trashy sims having fun there.
No CC, no store stuff, no Stuff packs, no Supernatural or Into the Future.
*Please note that these images were taken in Woeford, which comes with re-colours of objects such as air conditioners, barrels etc, so it will look slightly different in another world. In addition, some of the items included are unlocked items that will transfer into your game with no issue, but you won’t be able to find them again if you delete them. You do not need them to download this lot but if you want to have them in your build/ buy catalogue you will need Shimrod’s unlocked world editor items, Nysha’s unlocked Firefighter coat, Mr Hawk’s stencil fix of the Ranch Painting.*
