               ❝  why ,  whatever do you mean ?  ❞   the diamond’s golden eyes widened ,  she threw a frightened look over her shoulder ,  as if scared someone had overheard the blasphemous thing eclipsa had just said .   however ,  they were very much ALONE  — -   she looked back to the queen ,  her shock relaxing to a mere mild uneasiness .   yellow ,  too ,  was often plagued by similar thoughts .   she didn’t want to be a diamond AT ALL .   she much preferred to stay in her lab by herself and conduct research  — -  leading was uninteresting to her ,  despite her talent for it .   

♠ – “i don’t want to be queen.” louder now, to ensure there could be no confusion as to what she’d said. she never wanted to be queen, but what choice did she have? “no one -- no one even cares that my mother died. they just want me to fall into step and act like nothing happened,” tone becoming more and more agitated as she spoke, pacing the floor as she gestured wildly with her hands. “and they all want me to be fine. oh, no, can’t show weakness, can we? a queen has to be perfect and feel nothing but joy and love.” finally, she paused, tears pricking at her eyes as her breaths started coming in short gasps. she shouldn’t be saying this, not to yellow, but...it had to come out sometime. “...n-nevermind. forget it.”

REBLOG IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH JUMPING AROUND IN THREADS/PLOTS. sometimes it can take ages to get from point a to point b and half the fun is the journey. but sometimes it fun to explore different aspects of a plot. flashfowards, flashbacks, parts of the plot you have discussed but haven’t reached yet. It’s so fun to explore every part of a plot and have multiple threads in different places in a plot. Or sometimes different memes you sent/receive may not fit the point in the plot you are at right now, but fit a flashback or flashfoward. So reblog if you are okay with having different threads in different points in the plot.

♠ – “oh, no, sweetie, i’m not human at all. i’m a mewman.” a slight distinction, seemingly, though humans and mewmans couldn’t be more different. “regardless, i find it difficult to believe anyone would be frightened of a person who says golly.” and he appeared soft and so genuinely non-threatening, though eclipsa knew all too well how even her own people feared anything that didn’t look quite like them.
