Listen, I will be the first one to defend villains/antagonists being shitty without a reason, but I’m going to vaguely attempt to humanize the Veronica and Antoine de Sade. Dominique and Louis were clearly the less shitty siblings and I think that was because they were more separated from the family. Antoine and Veronica seem like heartless sadists who care about no one. Being a vampire doesn’t make you a bad person, cough cough Noe, Chloe Jean-Jacques, Luna etc, so these two were raised to be this fucked up.

We see just how much Domi suffers as a de Sade and she’s the youngest. What were Antoine and Veronica put through? They were once little kids who probably received the brunt of their family’s training and grandfather’s influence. They all have separate mothers for some reason. I feel like you only do that to diversify bloodlines or coalesce power, more than likely at the behest of the shapeless one. If their father is switching women like shirts, their positions are probably not secure unless they succeed. Why are the de Sades so fucked up? Ruthven went through shit that changed his outlook on life and he’s been alive for a least a century. I don’t think the older siblings are that old.

Did Veronica and Antoine have feelings, hopes, and dreams that were brutally crushed? Were they separated from others, mocked and ridiculed until their sense of empathy completely disappeared, or in Veronica’s case, turned into sadism? One kid is on the senate, the other works directly for the queen, and the third is a royal(?) guard. All the de Sade children are in high positions.

I’m also debating the vampire twin curse thing. Vampires are running around with science magic and machinery but twins are an issue? I mean they could be, but that seems suspicious.

Also you are starting to get a crush on your best friend which is problematic. And THEN you write a message in a book, and someone WRITES BACK. So now you’re trying to figure out who this person is. But there are 4 guys who all claim that they’re this mysterious messenger. One’s kind of creepy. One is starting to get a little creepy. The others are so far just a bit annoying. And they all have something to gain from befriending you. But you still need to figure out who the messenger is and it’s totally not bc you are projecting your feelings for your best friend onto this mysterious entity who writes you notes in a book. Even though you just had dream that he kissed you. At least you’re pretty sure it was a dream. Because there’s no way he’d actually kiss you that’s ridiculous. Even though he has been acting a little weird lately so maybe-

I don’t believe TaeKyung will end up with DaOn because he deserves better. He hasn’t been treated nice by DaOn and we as an audience don’t have any proof that that will change. DaOn saying to his friend it doesn’t matter if he’s seen now, seems more character development than couple development.  Also, TaeKyung has been trying so hard for DaOn, which is not good for him compared to his relationship with ShinWoo, with whom he seems way more natural. He can tease him as an equal rather than calculate everything he does or say for DaOn. I think he will say he’s confused or whatever, spend the whole episode deciding, and choose ShinWoo at the end. Or neither. Honestly, with just one episode left and the “I decided to reciprocate ShinWoo’s feelings” he said to DaOn, makes me think he’s better of alone for now. He has no idea what he wants. He didn’t have any friends a few months ago. And now he’s full on ready for a boyfriend? Don’t get me wrong, TaeKyung and ShinWoo are my forever endgame, but unless light on me pulls something amazing, I think he should end up alone, just as friends, I think it’s what’s best for him.

I'm living for Daon finally standing up for himself agaisn't So Hee, she can cry all she wants, i don't care. It's the moment to say "stop" and make her learn a lesson. I also think this will be big for Daon in a way, because he hates making people feel bad or sad, but this time it's 100% neccesary for his healing process, he can regain a little bit a courage and agency instead of being passive or letting others step on him. I can't wait for that...

PS: I think it was her who spread the photo of Da-on and Tae-gyeong holding hands too. And she calls that ‘knowing Da-on the most?’ She looked like someone who would ruin the person they like so they’d run to her back when she comfort them. This idiot.

Shin woo is adorable and I'm suffering for him. I don't like that He is fighting for Taekyung when Taekyung is whipped for Da on. He deserves better than be the second option for Taekyung.

Taekyung is attached to it Daon and it's his the frist very close friendship with someone and now he realized he even likes him or something DaOn from the beginning took care of him he was kind and nice so it 's obviously he will development something more but with Shinwoo it is really slowburn and they had 5 ep filled with their misunderstanding and now it' s was only 3 episodes when Shinwoo started to be nice to him and open a little
