I'm an Indian college student and my cat had a really bad fall and hurt himself. He's got a fractured leg and nasal bone and he needed surgery. The wound has gotten infected and there's a long way to go for recovery.
I'm an artist as well and I want to start commissioning work again to help pay bills as well as his medical expenses.

my best friend started dating my crush and now they go to movies together at the theater I work at and it fucking hurts so much. esp bc my best friend knows it hurts but she says is cheaper than the other theater in our town.
Listen. I worked at a movie theater for two years and that place is the biggest trap for drama and hurt feelings. It's shit. Trust me. However, I know she's also a liar because all movie theaters have roughly the same priced tickets and concessions. I worked at 2 different chains and watch movies at a 3rd chain. She goes to hurt you on purpose. Not because it's "cheaper." Unless it's one of those fancy dine in theaters that serve you dinner and drinks and other shit. I don't know what to tell you though to ease the pain. Spite her and give her stale popcorn. Give her carbonation instead of coke. Tell her the wrong directions to the auditorium they're seeing a movie in. I'm sorry she hurts you~ lacey

feeling depressed? I really recommend getting out of bed and washing your face. stretch a little and go outside. even if it’s just in your balcony, you should get some fresh air. take a shower and eat if you haven’t. get a positive ball rolling so to speak and i’m telling you, you’ll instantly feel a lot better.
the key to bettering yourself is treating yourself as if you were a close friend that you had to tale care of. don’t tyrannize yourself. be gentle and negotiate with yourself. you’re just a human and don’t crack a whip at yourself every time you mess up a little. it’s okay, its not the end of the world.

My friend told me my boyfriend (of a few months) is cheating on me but when I confronted him I found out he's in an abusive relationship. I'm mad that he didn't tell me about her before, but the other girl won't let him leave her. He let me read her texts, and she threatens him with either killing him or herself. Is there anything I can do about it?
It's one of those things where you either have to take it seriously or not at all. Her actions are the result of her own foolishness and no matter what the end game is, it's not your boyfriends fault. Domestic violence is no laughing matter, especially when she threatens to kill him over a breakup. I'm not sure if this is something you should get the police involved in, but you could, and could quite possibly get a restraining order against her. There is always a way out. Always. As long as you take the right, cautious steps, whatever she ends up doing is on her. Personally I would go with a restraining order because if she breaks it, she'll get arrested/fined~ lacey
