The thought of marriage never really occurs to SONIC, so I doubt he would take the initiative when it comes to proposing. He kinda leaves it there, letting the option open. He would be passive about this situation in general and will let his partner decides to do whatever they want. He doesn’t care otherwise.

Saitama wouldn’t care much about having a person stalking him. Maybe he’s a bit weird out even if it’s in a cute and innocent way, like a sense of intuition that causes him to feel strange and having eyes looking at him wherever her goes. He wouldn’t go as far as telling them to not follow him anymore, if that’s how they want to spend their days, it’s not his place to judge. Going round about with his words never help him with anything, so he chooses the most straightforward method when it comes to executing his words to avoid confusion.

But today, even blunt words fail him. And if he’s honest, words fail him in general. Because the revelation of the fact his partner just drains the life out of a monster who tried to jump on them out of nowhere, is somewhat terrifying for him. 

“Babe, what the fuck.” He says it again, this time louder than the previous one. But it was never a question to begin with, he knows exactly what happened and there is no need for asking. He just saw that with his two bare eyes and his fists still hold up in an offensive position from the previous attack. The shock is still registering into his system, as it seems. 

They stare back at him for a quiet moment, two blinks of their eyes passed by before they come up with an answer for him. And it’s nowhere near an explanation. “Occupational hazard?”

“That didn’t explain shit.” He deadpans after finding himself relaxed in their presence again and reverting back to his normal stance. Garou doesn’t even understand what he was worried about. It’s his lover, he shouldn’t stress over it. Then again, his shoulders still feel a bit tense.

“Oops?” They shrug, seemingly too indifferent for the current situation. 

Garou crosses his arms, reminding himself that he’s the better man here. Even if there’s an argument to break out, it’s nowhere near his favour. But he reminds himself that they wouldn’t hurt him, just as he wouldn’t hurt them. “Why didn’t you tell me?” 

“Sorry.” They instinctively apologise for that, even if it’s not their fault. He knows they shouldn’t and needn’t, but he appreciates the gesture. 

The silence continues between the two of them for a brief moment before they finally spit out the answer. “It never really crosses my mind.”

“Something this big never crosses your mind?” He growls a bit, feeling somewhat betrayed for them to not telling him everything. But it’s not their fault, he tells himself again. It’s nobody’s fault.

They are a bit taken back his sudden aggressiveness, unable to do anything but grin meekly. “Look, I’m really sorry, babe. It’s just that, I never use it much anyway.” And that gains a raising eyebrow from Garou, there’s even more mixed emotions in his eyes after hearing their words. What they said isn’t wrong, considering that this is the first time he has seen them with it.

“Power corrupts, so I don’t want to abuse it.” They take a sharp inhalation of breaths before continuing again. “I have enough hassle in my daily life already, I don’t need to deal with even responsibility that might tag along if I use my…ability too much.”

An idea sparks in his mind after hearing them saying their bits. But something stops those thoughts from getting vocalised, as those words he almost says are stopped dead at his throat.

“I…see.” He exhales a sigh of relief, not noticing he was holding back his breaths while they were talking. He’s rather quick to forgive considering the stare he gives them earlier is a bit too harsh, and as it seems, it surprises them as much as it does to him. 

“So, you’re fine with it?” They ask again just to confirm, but he sees little need in that. The answer is obvious, it’s always obvious between the two of them, there’s little need for communication when an understanding can be reached without words.

“Well, damn, you already accepted me for who I am. I might as well do the same.” If he’s saying the truth, he’s indifferent with the whole damn thing. But for the sake of their relationship, he will just look away. 

“Really?” They ask in bewilderment, only to receive a scold from him, following with a side-looped smile from him. Though his gaze is a tad bit too intimidating for the usual playfulness, the face that he ruffles their hair before they even have a chance to understand what’s going on is enough to reassure them. 

And even if there’s no word exchanged between them afterwards, the grin on their faces are enough for mutual understanding between them. 

SONIC doesn’t. Dealing with emotions isn’t what he does, he will ignore it until it goes away. He subconsciously tries to avoid it by doing things that distracted himself and attempts to act as normal as possible. 

GENOS gets a bit colder after getting hurt. He feels his emotions going stale for the first time since forever ago. If the pain is unbearable, he will disappear for a few days before returning with a new resolve. 

SAITAMA spaces out a bit with everything that’s going on. He’s pretty rational so he doesn’t let it affect his daily life too much. From time to time, he will sigh, thinking about one thing or another, but in the end, he’s still himself.

SONIC will trip on his face mid-pull and accidentally headbutt his partner instead of passionate kiss. Passionate headbutt, anyone? But if serious, he’s a bit taken back but then there’ll be this shit-eating grin on his face. He’ll give back ten times of what he’s receiving. Might get a bit handsy, would be breathless at the end of the kiss, and wiggle his eyebrows to suggest take things further.

SAITAMA goes along with them easily enough, has a little smile when he returns their favour and relaxes very quickly. He’s not really frustrated, especially unfazed if they have a habit of doing this. While he’s not exactly as passionate as they are during the kiss, he will let them know that he appreciates their affections. And, he’ll remain passive about what’s coming up next, leaving the decision in their hands.

MUMEN RIDER blushes so hard he’s overheating, his knees are weak and he flails around a bit before finally going along with them. He will take an eternity before he gets used to their actions, will ease up more if they are in an intimate relationship. He never dares to get too bold so he prefers it when they take up the initiative. I think generally, they would be supportive and understanding towards their loved ones. But reactions vary depends on the characters of course.

SAITAMA: Doesn’t take long to absorb the information, he thinks for a bit and then proceed to stand up. He says he will go to the convenient store for a bit. Later on, he comes home with his partner’s favourite food to cheer them up. Though, after that time, they never received any such text anymore.

GENOS: Is so quick at stating his point to kick that person’s ass that his partner has to be super fast at holding him back before he flies out of the house. They finally settle on having him get a firm conversation with the harasser, under his partner’s supervision lest his temper got out of hands and accidentally blow up the whole area.

SONIC: Vanishes so fast and leaves his partner in a confused daze. A few days later, their harasser is reported missing. When they confront him, Sonic refuses to say anything. After a week or so, his partner sees their harasser on the road again, but this time, that person freaks the fuck out and run away from them.

PREVIOUS: Depends on if you are his friend or not, if you aren’t then he wouldn’t give you a peck of his time of the day. He has more than enough to do and things to fight to care about some strangers. If you are in a buddy-buddy relationship, he will acknowledge of you whenever the two of you cross each other on the road. It’s easy to see through his frustration and his protectiveness, he’s also very helpful and pay attention to your well-being. He will appear in front of you with a handkerchief before you even sneezed. And wow, he’s so proud of himself when you thank him. He will even hang out with you much more and always trying to spend time with you when he can.
