We’re going silent for now, as neither of us really has time to run this blog full-time. However, we may do a similar event in the future, and in the meantime, I know @tazfemslash posts lady content, and people should reply to this post with other TAZ lady blogs I don’t know about!
DARNIT i JUST noticed that the last day to submit stuff passed, oh well :') thank you for running this project! it brought a lot of love and positivity to the wonderful taz girls

To everyone who made art, music, fic, playlists, or anything else for #tazladyweek: THANK YOU!
We’ve ended the week with over 400 submissions on tumblr and nearly 350 on twitter, which is so much more than expected. It really warms my heart that people rose to the challenge of giving our ladies some more love, and in so many jaw-droppingly amazing ways.
I made this event because I love the women of the show so much, and it saddens me that there’s such a lack of content for them. This is the case for a ton of fandoms, which I think is due to a lot of complicated factors (fewer female characters, fewer DEVELOPED female characters, misogyny, lesbophobia, etc). But because YOU participated in the event, you have helped to begin to close this gap in content.
I am writing this because you all have amazed me and given me hope for the future. Going through the tag every day was an incredible experience, even if I did manage to type “Sloane” as “Slaone” approximately a hundred times. It felt great to be flooded with lady-centric content.
The week is over, but if you take one thing from this event, let it be this: keep making lady and femslash content. I guarantee you will make someone happy. Representation matters!
Thank you again for writing, drawing, reblogging, retweeting, and everything. I hope we can do this again sometime soon, and I hope you had as much fun as I did!

TAZ Lady Week, Day 6: Fluff !
Hurley and Sloane mackin it after some sweet-ass race. You bet those smoke clouds are from some battle wagons they blew up the fuck. You bet that’s a giant mounted crossbow on the back of that car. You bet there are crossbow bolt holes in their car. This is the most romantic thing I can think of, basically, please just let these girls be happy.

I feel like we’ve all kinda forgotten that Taako was raised by his Aunt. And for some reason I kinda??? thought maybe she was so Galadriel level Elf queen or whatever. Hey name is Faylen, or Aunty Fay.
Bonus : Everyone’s confused at how she could of raised Taako but then she flirts with Lucretia and it all falls into place.
TAZ Lady Week, Day 5: Angst / The Animus Bell (Sacrifice)
Some members of the original iteration of the Beareau of Balance; from left to right, Captain Bane, Lucretia, Cam, Maureen Miller, and Boyland. The Director says in like the second ep of Moonlighting that the BoB has only existed in it’s current capacity for like a year, so I wanted to take it back to its origins a la Order of the Phoenix style, back to when it was just a group of folks working out of, like, someone’s basement trying to stop the end of the world. Fast forward to present day, when the Director is the only one left. Closer than she’s ever dreamed of accomplishing their goal, but having lost everything.
Lucretia and Cam are siblings, and y’all can pry that headcanon out of my cold, dead hands.
so no one told me about taz lady week until it was way late and im suing bc im gay for all the taz ladies especially killian and carey though.
TAZ Lady Week Day 6: Fluff / Beginnings
A Sweet Flips Wedding! Merle has to stand on a table to perform the ceremony. Magnus is Carey’s best man and treats it as the Most Important Job He Has Ever Had. Ango and Noelle decorate the whole moonbase, including the voidfish. The Director has a seat of honor next to a framed portrait of Boyland and no one notices that she is quietly crying because Magnus is just fucking sobbing. Taako coaches everyone through cooking all the food for the party, while at the same time making the enormous cake himself. He jumps out of the cake at the reception and Killian punches him.
I was at a con this weekend so this one’s coming late (Day 7 will be coming tomorrow!)
