DIABOLIK LOVERS ENGLISH PATCH RELEASE!

At long last, we have fully completed our English patch for the Limited V Edition of Diabolik Lovers Haunted Dark Bridal. Reminder that you must be able to send us proof of your purchase of the game in order to receive a copy of the patch. There are instructions on how to do this in the link above. 

Also, note that the patch is around 2.5 GB, so your memory card must have at least 3GB or so of space on it for the patch to be able to be installed.

This patch was worked on by a lot of people (over 25!), and as much as we tried to keep everything consistent, scripts have different translators, which means different writing styles. We have done our best in editing to make them all cohesive, but if a few scripts sound a little different, it’s because they were probably worked on by a different team member.

If anyone notices any errors or problems, please let us know! This game is fairly large, and even though we proofed it and beta tested it multiple times, we probably missed things here and there.

Our hacker completed extracting the texts (most of them, we believe) for CollarxMalice unlimited. I think Aksys will unlikely to pick up this FD, since the vita scene isn’t looking well for them. So I’ll start this project and I REALLY need J-E translators that are interested in translating this game. We work on google sheet so you don’t have to do anything complicated, just need to translate from Japanese to English, that’s all. You can translate at anytime you got internet access and a table/smart phone. You can translate 1-2 lines when you’re waiting for train or bus, or a friend. Anytime you have some spare time, you could help :).

 Please note that we will not public this translation patch when it (ever?) complete. The only way to get it is to buy the Japanese version of it, either by buying digital or the actual vita disc. Then send us the proof of you purchasing the game, then we will send you the patch. You’re not allowed to share it to anyone. Well… I don’t know if we ever have a complete patch, though.

And some thoughts about translating the game…

I just bought the game via PSN, and I have looked in the game files and found these fullsize cgs. It’s not normal at all for a psvita game. I think they’re gonna be ported to PS4 or PC with these cg sizes. Let us hope!

If you can, please purchase the original game to support the developers so they can port the game to multiple platforms and have it localized when it sells well!

Also I have looked at the script files and they’re totally translateable. I don’t know any Japanese though, still learning. Anyway, if someone wants to translate the game with me, feel free to drop me a PM.

Just to be sure, I think if we ever got the translation patch out, I’ll only send the translation patch to ppl with proof of purchasing the original game. Not ppl pirated it.
