The teacher’s age at birth is less than one day. Does that mean he stays less than one day old his entire life? No, because things change. We grow and we develop and we think and we become our own individuals.
Just because you’re born a certain age doesn’t mean you remain that certain age. Just because you’re born with a certain hair color doesn’t mean you remain with that certain hair color. Just because you’re born a certain gender, doesn’t mean you remain that certain gender. It’s as simple as that.
Here’s a crazy concept: how about we let people make their own decisions about their own selves? And how about we respect that since it doesn’t affect us and is the right thing to do?
(Ultimately, whether you actually agree with any of that or not doesn’t matter. What matters is that you respect those individuals despite their differences to your opinion.)
