Hi! I’m Nadrac. Your humble, musing dragon girl!

Ally to the Kamen Riders (best friends with Agito) and an International Rescue agent (both in TOS and TAG). I am amateur writer and a talented artist. I am also a multiverse traveler, journeying through many different worlds and had plenty of adventures through them and their borders. Currently learning Japanese and the art of reality altering

I am joined by a mysterious boy named Alexonor. He traveled with me since we first met and had so many adventures where he had shown some abilities beyond explanation. That or he could be a Mary Sue. I can’t tell since he’s pretty unpredictable. Gotta keep an eye on him because his child-like personality can’t keep him from getting himself in trouble.

people telling you they reread your fic is the biggest compliment you could ever receive. there are thousands of stories out there begging to be found, to be explored, but your story meant so much to someone that they came back to it eagerly, they went over every word again. to love is to return and loving a fic is rereading it. thank you to all readers and rereaders <3333

😳 <- this emoji but without the blush or romantic connotation. im not blushing im staring you directly in your fucking eyes

if you excuse the bad editing it would look like this

can we hit 150k before this piece of shits one year anniversary

u know before yellow emojis took over as automatic, the one we used for this exactly was O_O . which has unfortunately become the shortcut for the stupid blushy one. but we also used to emphasize the emotion by making the mouth bigger, O_________O . there was also o_O , for when you're weirded out, and o_o for small weirds or intrigue. you could use a period instead of an underscore for the mouth, o.o, O.O, which was a little more like shock.

there was also -_- for when you're annoyed. -_-* for pissed. the asterisk is a forehead vein. a very bad day or very bad joke could result in -___________-********** .

anyway that's your history lesson for the day, dont forget your roots.

some of y'all need to learn how to accept hospitality. stop assuming people are only offering to look after you out of twisted obligation that they don't actually want to do. when you assume that, you are often denying someone the opportunity to genuinely show a friend or stranger love. even if you don't really care about what they're offering, it's respectful of their desire to be kind to accept it anyways.

i had a bunch of girls i've never met over for a women's group. every single one of them denied my offer to make them tea (despite already making myself a mug anyways), get them water, a scone, etc.

i can tell when people refuse to let me be a good host because they "don't want to be a bother". like no!! please be a bother!!! i want to serve you and make you comfortable in my home!

not to be like "we live in a society" but really do live in a modern culture than emphasizes individualism to the point where people will reflexively deny any help or kindness from others for fear of treading on their independence. newsflash: dependence on each other is what makes a community. next time someone offers you kindness, accept it instead of making excuses for why you don't need it. otherwise you've robbed both yourself of being loved and someone else from showing love.

One of the things that really helped me make friends as an adult was learning that people want to be wanted, they want to be useful

Accepting help and offering help in return was key to deepening acquaintances into fully-fledged friendships

May 9 (WWII Victory Day) is the day I think about my grandparents a lot. Unfortunately, I only knew one of them, my father’s father (bottom row). All others died before I could talk. All of them survived the WWII. Grandfather Serafim (top row) was a train driver. Grandmother Masha (top row) was a nurse  and also worked on a train. That’s how they met - on railroad. Grandfather Tolya was a tank pointer during the war, and an optics physysist after. Grandma Nadya was a doctor, after the war she worked as a pediatrician.

I try to learn more about them and what kind of people they were. Sometimes I see in me something that I clearly got from them and it’s crazy.

Tell me about your grandparents, especially those who aren’t with us anymore. Let’s remember them.

Just a heads up, if the user ‘lotsssuhtummedyumms’ sends you an ask please block them immediately before they can further spam you. They are known to steal art and harass people, and for more info just look up ‘nightflightversel’ in a search engine it should pull up results documenting all they’ve done over the years across multiple platforms. They mainly target people who do dragon art, but still take caution.

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, often shortened to Captain Scarlet, is a British science fiction television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and filmed by their production company Century 21 Productions for distributor ITC Entertainment. It is one of several Anderson series that were filmed using a form of electronic marionette puppetry dubbed "Supermarionation" combined with scale model special effects sequences. Running to thirty-two 25-minute episodes, it was first broadcast on ITV regional franchises between 1967 and 1968 and has since been transmitted in more than 40 other countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Set in 2068, Captain Scarlet follows the "war of nerves" between Earth and the Mysterons, a race of Martians who possess partial control over matter. When a misunderstanding, causes human astronauts to attack their city on Mars, the Mysterons vow revenge and launch reprisals against Earth. These are countered by Spectrum, a worldwide security organisation. In the first episode, Spectrum agent Captain Scarlet acquires the Mysterons' self-healing power of "retrometabolism" and is thus rendered "indestructible", being able to recover from otherwise fatal injuries. In this way, Scarlet becomes Spectrum's top asset in its fight against the Mysterons.

[image description: a painted comic cover of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, featuring Captain Scarlet pointing a gun towards the camera. A set of green Mysteron rings move over Scarlet's body. In the background a Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle and an Angel Interceptor zoom past while also an explosion goes off. End description]

Okay so fun fact: I know the artist who made this. His name is Nigel Parkinson (you can see his signature just underneath Scarlet), he now mostly works for a set of childrens comics called The Beano but he previously worked for Fleetway Publications who produced some Anderson themed comics. The project was headed by Alan Fennell who wrote a lot of Stingray and Thunderbirds. Nigel has always had a good word to say about Fennell and talks about how nice he was and what it was like to work for him.

My favourite bit of trivia about this Scarlet cover is apparently it had to be redrawn cos the company didn't want the main character of a children's comic to be holding a gun on the front cover, despite the fact guns are used pretty regularly throughout the series.

Also I just want to add that Nigel is lovely and sweet and you can probably see him at your local comic con if you live in the UK cos he seems to visit every single one.

@overlordraax Oooooooh cool! <3
