Hey since my DMs are being blown up with a bunch of 'hey just so you knows' and 'I thought you'd want to know that your friend is...' and my feed has a lot of vague posts on it lately..
My favorite thing is when somebody thinks it's acceptable to stir up drama because they don't like somebody, to try and excommunicate them from the entire community.
For fucks sake, if it's not your fucking drama, then why the fuck are you involved? Shut your goddamn mouth and mind your own business, because you aren't helping anything. All you're doing is making the drama bigger, stupider, and waaaay more drawn out than it needs to be.
Shit, I'm not even part of any of the drama, and you still feel the need to drag me into this because YOU don't like this person? Really?
If you don't like somebody, you're 100% entitled to that. Block them. Blacklist them. Don't invite them to your things. That's perfectly okay.
But don't you dare for a second think its your right or responsibility to tell someone else what their opinion should be, or how they should ostracize this person because of YOUR feelings about them. Don't you dare shame other people for being friends with this person you do not like. Don't you dare shame the host of another party for inviting you and also the person you don't like. Don't you dare shame people agreeing to a collab because it's with a person you don't like. If it means that much to you, then don't attend.
If someone likes them, that's their business. You don't have to be friends with everyone, and that's OK. But that doesn't mean that you can tell your friends 'oh, they are a bad person, you shouldnt be friends with them, they did X, Y and Z'
Because if you're telling me/implying that retaining my friendship with you means giving them up? I'm going to pick them in a fucking heartbeat. Because they didn't give me a fucking ultimatum. They didn't make me feel like I had to pick a side. They didn't impose any rules or restrictions on our friendship. It looks to me like YOU are the one being hostile, and I want no part of that.
Take your salty ass cancel culture and get the fuck out of my DMs.

💗 Our communal gil goes toward costume changes, dyes and redecorating the stage room every month. Our good friends and neighbors @luckysparrowffxiv had a misfortune befall them recently in game and we are seeking to raise donations at this event for them! Gil/items/ words of encouragement and support
So we are renaming our tournament Da Family Feud; Fight for the Cause!

The Moonlight Oasis on Balmung is Now Recruiting!
After a small hiatus we are getting back in the swing of things and are looking for new members and allies to join our ranks as we move forward in 2020 to build a community of like minded individuals to roleplay and build with us as we continue our journey forward. The Moonlight Oasis is the name of the flagship establishment of the criminal organization by the name of Shogai. The Oasis doubles as a safehouse for most that need a place to call home, however, the safety of the established residents come first and reviews are in place to determine if an individual is considered too unsafe to house. At a glance the Oasis is a lounge and restaurant that is periodically throughout the month with a focus on its Far East touches. The establishment is always looking for a few spare hands to help out in this regard. However, The Oasis is also home to Shogai, a small Robin Hood style criminal organization that looks to find ways to swindle, con, or right out steal money and assets from the wealthy with the intentions of using them to aid those in need. In the past, Shogai has had a focus on Hingashi, however, recently it had shifted its focus to Eorzea with several small business ventures. Shogai is known for housing all sorts of individuals and those more in the communities they circle would have, at least, heard of rumors or possible Yokai or even Voidsent among their ranks. But those are just rumors. Shogai is an Eastern Themed criminal organization, similar to, but not Yakuza. They are known for their relaxed ways and understand that not everyone will stay for life. However, if one would wish, Shogai would happily welcome all who are interested into the family. The Moonlight Oasis is a Heavy RP focused FC with Mature Themes. At no point is a member of the FC mandated to join in anything that they are uncomfortable with. It is understood that anyone who joins is free to enjoy any aspect of the roleplay that is established for the group, as well as deny. We want to bring a fun, mature, and friendly environment for all who join our community. You do not need to be part of the FC to work for The Oasis or join Shogai story events. If you are interested in joining the FC or becoming an ally, please contact a member of the management team. Because of the criminal activity, there may be some dark undertones to the stories, or it being the main story itself. However, we promise that at the start of a story we will warn and discuss any possible content that may affect a player in a negative manner. We do not look to cause any sort of mental distress on any player. At NO point is a member of our Free Company or a member of our community expected to do anything they are uncomfortable with! On the same note, no FC member will be expected to work at any public event. We want to cater and find ways to work with all sorts of backgrounds. We do not want people to feel that they have to WORK at our events, however, if that is what you enjoy, we will not say no to assistance from members or allies.

I always, always adore going to these shows. I am a huge closet (well, not so closeted now) fan of LUCKY and I have been for a long time. These are some screens I managed to grab of their latest show and am posting with permission. It was tricky to get some of these because I couldn’t ‘lock on’ with Gpose, but I think they turned out fairly well.

Beach Barbecue Brawl
Do you have what it takes to get your Grub and Brawl on?!? Well if you think you do, join Shogai as we once again take to the sands of Costa Del Sol for BBB!

What is BBB?
Beach Barbecue Brawl, combines the best parts of summer into one bash! Join for food by Suisei Ramen, while fighters brawl to prove they can top the rest!
Rules?
What are rules? No killing each other If your opponent yields for any reason, the fight is over.
If you proceed to attack after you will be perma-banned from the brawls.
Guns are allowed, but please do not use lethal rounds. If needed, substitutes and modifications can be made on site. Put on a good show!
How Fights Work
Fights are handled in a Grindstone-like system.
/random to determine initiative.
/randoms are done before your actions; done this way to allow a player to know if they hit or not before emote
If Roll Higher for the attacker it hits; If Higher for the defender it misses.
Each Fighter has 3 HP; Each successful hit = 1 damage.
OOC Rules
Seek permission for any major damage/injury you wish to do to your opponent with them first.
If you wish to use poisons, please seek permission from your opponent first. Once approved, please inform the healer on duty of any and all effects.
How do you sign up?
We are currently only allowing 6 fighters per night in attempts to limit time.
