I figured out roughly how many notes it's been getting per day and multiplied that by the number of days left until the end of 2023

If we keep it going at this rate we'll be far past 666k

I think we should start sharing our favourite self care tips and advice (both indulgent and practical kinds!)

That way we're all in this together.

If you're having trouble drinking enough water, try:

  • Brushing your teeth
  • Rinsing your mouth out with salt water
  • Putting a koolaid packet in your water for Flavours and Colours
  • Using a straw (no, really)

Also, glass is easier to clean than plastic.

I like this branch. One of my favorite tips in general, but particularly as it applies to self-care, is "anything worth doing is worth half-assing." Trouble sleeping? You will still get benefit if you let yourself rest. Can't meditate? Even a few deep slow breaths will calm your system. Two minutes of teeth brushing is too much? As much time as you can manage will have more benefit than none. There is no failure, there is no "perfect", whatever you do to take care of yourself helps you, so half-ass away.

If toothpaste is bothersome, nothing is stopping you from brushing your teeth without it if need be. Some mouthwash added into the routine may help with extra cleaning, but doing the brushing is always useful

Set reminders in the morning (or whatever time you need for your case) to take medication! Whether it be a simple “take meds” phone notification, a physical note, or some sort of alarm that you know means it is time to take your meds

Allow yourself moments every once in a while to stop, breathe, and take in your surroundings. Genuinely, simply paying attention to your body can do so much for a person. Stop and breathe every once in a while. I like to step outside when I do this, but even doing so sitting down or standing while doing some work helps. It clears the mind up.

If life seems overwhelming, ground yourself with whatever method works best for you. For me, I like to come up with an arbitrary list and name as many things as I can that fit said list until I feel more present in the moment. The point about breathing can work for this, but find what works best for you.
