I really need some advice.  one of my closet friends have told me that she, her mother, and grandmother have been verbally abused by her aunt.  there may have also been times where physical abuse may have happened.  she has told me that her aunt has hit her mother and such, but not enough to injure .

the only solution at the moment for her is to move away with her mother, but a few months ago her grandmother fell down the stairs and is unable to take care of herself, and so her family is not doing too well financially due to hospital bills and hiring caretakers.

They have called the police before, but all they will be able to do was take her aunt away for a few days and when she comes back, the situation would probably worsen.

at the moment, all i'm worried about is for my friend and her mother's mental health,

i wish to help them more than just encouraging words

if you have any suggestions on how i can help her, please tell me

she's my first and closet friend when i entered high school

and she's pretty much family
