Life is a mess, once again

As you can see, there's no fanart from me in the last months. It is not that I don't want to draw - far from it, really.

Just so happens that I must leave the place where I currently am and move to other country, and for that I am trying my best to collect as much money as I can. Mostly because where I am heading, there's no PC and/or possibility to buy one, so I would literally have no ability to draw and make money.

I am jumping from art gig to art gig, trying to collect money at least for the move itself, and for a tablet, if possible.

Losing your loved one, knowing you could've save him, is terrible. How could Lan Wanji bear such weight for so long? Raising their chind, A-Yuan, and seeing more and more of Wei Wuxian's traits in him every day? I'm sure some days the weight seemed too unbearable. But... But his mate came back, in spite of odds.

So now they have a moment of peace - very well deserved one, I might add.

Rescued by a Khajiit beggar and raised by her as her own son, Moran never questioned whether they were indeed his family. There was no reason - they loved him, protected him and perceived him as one of their own.

However, it worked both ways - and when Vanjiranyrr began working for the thieves guild in Bravil, Moran was endlessly worried and feared about the safety of his older sister...

I'm so glad I can finally draw them both! Their sibling dynamic actually explains about 80% of how Moran goes in his life.

How heavy on events the last years have been! But everything comes to its end. The last of the Wen's have died, and the terrible Yiling Laozu have fallen. The cultivator world can sleep peacefully...

But not Lan Wangji.

He couldn't be there for his beloved, could not take him away from the darkness, protect him, save him. He failed - but no more. He won't let this kid down. Wei Ying loved him, cared for him...

So now it's Lan Wangji's job to raise him  - all while yearn for and mourn for his lost love.

I have so many random ideas that is not quite working on my current otp and/or OCs, so lately I’ve been trying to get them into some YCH’s. It is so much fun!

This lovely khajiit woman's name is Vanjiranyrr, and she is Moran's older step-sister. When Moran was little, she protected him a lot and used to call him "tiny claw" as a tease.

I anways wanted to draw her, since she was one of my favorite oc in TESO, but the perspective of drawing non-human scared me. But I decided that sometimes I should not only give my characters my traumas - I should take some virtues from them aswell. And be a little bit more brave, as she is ^^  

It's scary - to live in a world where you're sure that you have no one left. That everyone (understandably) turned their backs on you, forgot about you - and didn't even care if you were dead or alive. You can be as brave as you want, but... it's scary, really scary.

But Xie Lian has to live like that no more.

Long ago, Lan Wangji had already lost his soulmate. He doubted, and listened to the rules, and listened to everyone around him... He won't make the same mistake again.

In another time, in another life, they can just share a warm embrace and not think about anything. Can live and smile without sorrow - and without pain.

Gusu Lan is insanely peaceful in the night, especially when Wei Ying manages to convince his husband to stay awake after nine. Such moments are indeed wery rare, and Wei Ying is sure that he is infinitely cunning and eloquent, since he manages to convince Lan Er-gege to disobey the rules... even if he himself is the one who sooner or later falls asleep on Lan Zhan's shoulder.

Oh, if only the silly Yiling Laozu knew how much Lan Zhan loves such evenings. Silence, a simple presence oh his soulmate close, so close... and thought, simple and at the same time infinitely complex: they are at home.

They are together. And nothing else will separate them anymore.

They say that in the lands far, far to the west, completely different dragons live. They are arrogant and proud, and they steal gold from the lands and take it to their caves.

Perhaps this is true. Perhaps not only them, but all dragons are destined to seek treasure.

But Lan Wangji doesn't care. He has already found his own.
