the mood for february is acknowledging that You Can Play is basically just a tokenistic gesture by the nhl but still letting LGBT people enjoy and celebrate pride nights and players that wear pride tape/shirts because it makes us feel kinda good and bc constantly seeing negative posts about how systemically homophobic the nhl is gets kinda upsetting after a while
