I've always wanted to make an edgy animation meme lol. Now I have the ability to do so! If you're sensitive to flashing lights be careful, there are some flashing items, though I tried to make it not too bad on the eyes.
I'ma be real, I'm not the best at adding interesting background visuals, especially with animation. I mostly hand animate stuff, so there's not smooth transitions. Been working on this awhile, I'm glad I can finally share!

I think my biggest problem with stories about immortals who want to die out of "boredom" or despair over living too long and being jaded about it is that like...
Yes, after a few eons you'd run out of things to master and learn, but like... The idea that observing humanity or other sapient beings is something that would ever get "boring" or you'd tire of makes no sense to me, considering we're the species that keeps making stories and art and sharing it with each other. I find it much more interesting to frame such characters as becoming passive observers than disillusioned with immortality.
To put it in other words: You could spend innumerable lifetimes observing people and never see the same thing twice.

Anyways! I've been part of this Minecraft SMP for awhile now (@riptidesmp ) and it's been really fun! It's kind of a mix of DND and Minecraft! I did an art trade with a friend I made on there and they wanted this.
I don't wanna give too many spoilers but! This is a certain character ascending to a certain level. Suffice to say, a new god is something that must be given the royal treatment!

Like if she takes a sip of beer she gets flat out drunk and starts to swing between crying about her current situation, doing stupid stuff and casually spilling the beans on the celestial hierarchy, revealing the biggest and most humiliating secrets about the guys in charge (but especially Adam).
Oh absolutely. She hasn't been exposed to a lot of alcohol or drinking in her life, so she has very little resistance towards it. I don't think a single sip would get her to that level, but compared to people like Alastor or Angel, she's a lightweight. Hell, even Charlie and Vaggie have more tolerance than her!
Thankfully she's surrounded by people who know how alcohol works. She's not going to go on a bender, thank god! But the things she'd accidentally let slip...
Trust Issues
The next morning and no one is having a good time. Angel and the rest have just gotten the news that Heaven not only threw out the person who defended them, but also that Adam will be targeting the hotel with an invincible angelic army. Not to mention Vaggie's whole secret making this worse than it already is...
Emily and Angel aren't friends yet... But they can get there in time. Emily's persistent and a ray of sunshine, she's good at making friends. (And Angel likes her more than he let's on).

In Episode 7, unfortunately, he won't be accompanying Alastor and Charlie to the Cannibal Colony. Peccantum will be staying behind, nursing a headache, and debating with the others on if they should abandon ship or not. We already saw what happened in Cannibal Colony, I wanna explore an angle the show didn't get to. There's some interesting conversations to be had...
Fear not though, cause I do have an idea for Peccantum visiting Cannibal Colony with Alastor! It would probably take place after season 1 though, so it might be some time before I get there.

If you thought abt this, what Peccantum's voice and manner of speaking sound like? Maybe even references? In my head i usually read characters' lines with their voices, as much as i know and can imagine them, so caught myself on unintentionally sort of headcanonig his voice while rereading comics, and since i also can't "give" my own voice to characters who aren't my self-insert OCs, now i need to know what canonically imagine while reading^^"
Also, on the other note, are you ok with idea of fanart of him? :0 in general and mb with interactions with others OCs? (nothing nsfw and no shipping ofc lol)
Yes! Fanart is the highest compliment I can ever receive when it comes to my characters and stories!!!!! I'd love to see him interacting with anyone/anything! I have an RP blog that I used to run for him, so I'm absolutely okay with him interacting with others!
Funnily enough, I have actually put some thought into how Peccantum would sound! It's hard to describe audio with text but I'll do my best!
I'm gonna use Matt Mercer as the example because his normal voice is on the range of what I think Peccantum's would be. Not Matt's deep voice either, but more like his performances as Anarky (Arkham Origins) or Aiden (Minecraft Story Mode). A higher tone but not obnoxiously so.
Peccantum comes from the Rockies in America, so no strong accent. The only notable thing is that he's gentle with his consonants and doesn't emphasize them. He also tends to stutter when he gets nervous/stressed.
Curiosity
An AU animation/animatic for Peccantum and Alastor. It popped into my head while listening to the song and I wanted to test out my new program! Krita is really good lol
As for the AU, Peccantum is a disgraced reporter obsessing over the recent disappearances. Alastor is a local radio host with a secret up his sleeve! Neither of them are normal people...

How Peccantum looked before he died! He was very different to the deer boi we know today and much more miserable. He was young, arrogant, and was taught not to care about anyone or anything. Peccantum has changed a lot since finding himself in hell, and has been humbled severely.
His hair was nowhere near as long or nice as it is now, but I wanted to keep the bun to add to the shape language. He usually dresses pretty plain as to not draw attention to himself. BUT! He does have a special ritual robe.
Okay so i thought peccantum was a girl and apperently i couldn't have been wronger

Peccantum is he/him, and is cis. However, he doesn't really follow strictly to the gender norms. He's exploring himself!

I've been toying with the idea that Peccantum was either kidnapped at a very young age or was adopted by an indoctrinated member. Either way, he was raised by multiple people within his community until his teacher took notice of his talents and 'took him in' so to speak.
This teacher is the closest thing Peccantum has to a parent. That teacher then later killed him and stole his magic soooo... that would count as daddy issues?
His mommy issues, meanwhile are that he doesn't have one.
