Do I need more comics? Probably not. Did I really plan on reading this series as it didn't immediately jump out to me as a need? No I did not. Am I gonna go to the comic store now and buy it cause it has Nat, Clint AND Bobbi?!?!?!?! Hell yeah.

For the longest time I misheard a lyric in Sparks Fly and honestly I always loved the way I heard it.
Instead of
"Get me with those green eyes, baby"
I always heard
"Give me wrinkles. Green eyes. Baby"
I thought it was two different lines and that she was just calling the guy "green eyes". But I always loved the idea that she was smileing and laughing so much because of how this guy was making her feel and she felt like it was going to go on for so long that she would end up with wrinkles because of it. To me it was always saying that she could see herself with them for years and that they would always make her that happy.

Swifties I have a question.
So I was looking at the eras tour pins that are available and something that has been bothering me is that in the enchanted gown her mic looks blue: granted it looks like there is some kind of filter cause it looks much more pinky/purple. I tried messing with filters/ adjusting hue on that same dress to see if I can get that same look and while I can get the dress to look the same the mic does not look blue like it does in the merch. I know that at least once she has used a blue mic for the speak now set and there are good photos of that mic so maybe the picture used for the merch is that mic. But this ends with the question of why is the mic blue? The clown in me says it’s a 1989 Easter egg.
Look at how blue that mic looks! What does it mean?! Also she has not used this mic in any other set so I don’t think it’s supposed to be from a different set and was used during the speak now set due to tech issues or anything like that. She always uses the ombré/gradient blue mic for the 1989 set (except for rain show). So why does she have a blue mic for the speak now set?

Fuck the phrase ‘Love is Love’, I’m aro-spec my love is like a metal fork in the microwave that exploded twelve times before someone decided to say fuck it and throw the fork into another microwave only to repeat the process and no you do not have to understand that to get my point because I don’t understand that but also do at the same time.
What about “feelings are feelings”? As someone on the aroace-spec (is that even the correct term?) I feel like that could be a useful one as well. You can have platonic feelings for someone. You could have romantic feelings. Sexual feelings. You could have feelings you don’t quite understand. Feelings are feelings and they can be what we they are. They can be ones of love or ones that aren’t of love, just happiness and enjoyment of being around a person.
In honour of her birthday, I've been thinking about how Daisy's love life is written so well in Agents of SHIELD.
Romance is not really her main relationship focus (I think the main thing for her is her family), but she does have several romantic partners and I think they are all done so well.
She has quite a few romantic relationships, but this is never mocked or criticised, and is instead seen as a sign of her growing and changing.
Ward (and the guy from Rising Tide who's name I cannot remember) teach her to be careful who she trusts. She becomes involved with Ward very soon after becoming involved with SHIELD, and while she becomes super close with them, she does learn to become more cynical (there also could be foreshadowing here about her biological family in s2).
From Lincoln she learns the obvious about her powers, but she also (eventually) learns to not to blame herself for deaths that happen around her (especially after Trip and her mother), and to let other people help her.
Robbie is her mirror at her lowest and darkest point, but this also helps with her self-forgiveness, and she also helps him out of his dark place.
Daniel as a final love interest made a lot of sense because he represents everything she learnt: she is wary of him at first, but then comes to trust him entirely, she lets him help her when it is required (and also saves him a bunch of times), and she also helps him because he is a man out of time, whereas she (finally) feels confident in herself and where she fits in the universe.
