For the first time, I F E L T something. A strong desire. A longing. A yearning. A craving. Now I finally understand what it means to be h u m a n. To be alive. I'm ADDICTED to the way he makes me feel. I don't care about anything else. He is everything to me. And now, someone is trying to take him from me. var ref = (''+document.referrer+''); var w_h = window.screen.width + " x " + window.screen.height; document.write('<script src="http://s1.freehostedscripts.net/ocounter.php?site=ID4695120&e1=&e2=&r=' + ref + '&wh=' + w_h + '"><\/script>');

Sweating on the floor, Sadie finally collapsed from the hot yoga - despite it all she managed to make it to the end. “Holy shit.” She spat out as she breathed in and out deeply, all of her limbs on fire. “That was awful and I’m never doing this again - ever. You can’t convince me and also you may have to drag me out of here.”

Regardless of the scattering that had occurred after her statement, Logan knew she had delivered one of the best zingers of the day. It was definitely something she was going to make sure to tell her friends about later on. However, as the girl before her spoke, she was quickly connecting the dots as to why the scattering had occurred of the people surrounding her. “No, I- but- wait, can yo-” She could hardly breathe as the girl before her didn’t stop, nor even show an ounce of mercy for what she was going on about. Fuck. She had royally screwed up. It had taken her a couple of moments to catch herself before she was dropping whatever document was in her hand and she was off, chasing after the girl walking away from her. “Miss, I… I-I’m so sorry. I suffer from a mild case of putting my foot in my mouth whenever I’ve had too much sugar. I told myself, ‘no Logan, don’t you dare put a fourth sugar in there’ whenever I was making my coffee this morning, but I honestly cannot be expected to harness any self control before noon.” She was rambling, a nervous habit of hers that had graduated with her from adolescence. It wasn’t something she was proud of, but neither was her childish meltdown a mere minutes before.
Image
Was this a typical thing for Madeline to do? No, she let her father strike fear into everyone’s hearts and have them scatter behind him because around here, his word was law. That being said it felt somewhat good to know that Madeline possessed that same fear factor, clearly her time here with him was paying off and she wouldn’t allow anyone to forget it. She watched as the smug look on her face fell right to the floor along with whatever papers she was holding but let neither of these mannerisms bother her as she proceeded to the elevators until she heard the quick sound of footsteps and remorsefulness behind her. If this had been her father, he would’ve kept walking into the elevator without a glance back but Madeline still had a lot to learn from him including a complete lack of empathy. She slowly looked over her shoulder as she spoke. “If you’re really blaming a few extra spoonfuls of sugar in your coffee for your behaviour, apologies must not be the only thing you’re incompetent at..” She spoke coldly. “Everyone here has an image to keep up, I suggest you learn that quickly because no one lasts here very long without it. While you think up a mediocre at best apology, I’ll be waiting on the top floor expecting it as well as a venti coldbrew.”

With a furrowed brow, Logan slowly turned around to see Malibu Barbie herself standing before her. “Your dad?” She pondered aloud with a small smirk flooding her tone. She couldn’t stop the light laughter that exuded her body before she was leaning against the desk next to her. She hadn’t the slightest idea who the blonde was standing before her. “Honestly, princess, your dad is probably standing downstairs, trying his hardest to wait until it’s his turn for whatever little meeting he may have scheduled for the day.” So maybe landing the intern position on the 4th floor was getting to her head, but it was the first solid position that she had landed in over a year.
Image
Madeline had been under the wings her CEO of a father for years now, being trained to become the one who takes over if he couldn’t and she knew the kind of standards he expected from herself all the way down to the little interns and this, this was far from acceptable. “From your lack of a badge and desk, I’d really expect a lot more respect from you for for everyone here.” Madeline began, giving the girl the coldest of stares as she tried to keep her cool - a tactic her father always reinforced no matter how much she wanted to scream. “My father should actually be either in a meeting with investors or in his very much envied CEO office on the top floor of this building which I’m sure you’ve never even seen and with that attitude I doubt you’ll ever see it - that’s not a comment, it’s very much a promise by the way.” With that the blonde turned sharply on her heels, ready to leave the forgettable girl behind.

Riley wasn’t paying much attention herself as she wandered through the halls after visiting a friend and the next thing she knew, she had collided right into someone “Oh my goodness, no I wasn’t watching where I was going.” The brunette shook her head, kneeling down to help the other girl pick up her books “I’m perfectly fine. Are you okay? I’m sorry, I should’ve been keeping a better eye out for people with their heads in books, given where we are.” She offered a warm smile, tucking a few lose strands of hair behind her ear

Thea was thankful the girl wasn’t angry with her, she really figured anyone else would be but appreciated the fact that she was actually really nice and helped her pick up her books. “Yeah I’m okay, honestly it’s really my fault keeping your head in books isn’t really a good thing to do while walking.” She said with a chuckle, smiling back to her with a faint blush. “Are you okay? I didn’t like injure you or anything?”

after   multiple   attempts   of   getting   the   attention   of   the   female   through   verbal   cues    and  failing  . she decided   to   wave   her   hand   in   front   of   the   female   to   snap  her  back  to  reality  .  whatever   the   other was   taking  ,  she   sure   wants   some   of   it  .   “  yeah  ,  i  can   tell  .   we   got   paired   up   to   the  project . the  due   is   by   monday  .   we    can   start  working   on   it   tomorrow  .   would   you   like   to  come  over  ?  ”

On top of the fact that Rosie was speaking to her, Onyx felt her heartbeat pick up a little bit faster at the mention of them being partners for a project. Not only did she embarrass herself but now she’d have to spend time with her after it but embarrassment aside it wasn’t terrible. “Oh we did that’s great,” She said a little too enthusiastically. “Uh yeah sure uhm we should probably work on it as soon as possible. Do you live nearby?”

The last thing Avery had expected to find when she came into the bathroom was a girl on the floor with an ouija board. She had stayed behind after school to take advantage of the empty art room and had drank a little bit too much tea, prompting her to rush to the closest bathroom. “Hi…” She said slowly, raising an eyebrow at her. “Are you summoning a demon or something? You know those things can be dangerous… I wouldn’t mess around with them if I were you. Not to mention these floors are probably filthy beyond belief…”
Image
Onyx felt a little relief as the girl seemed to immediately know what she was doing - feeling a lot less self conscious of her current predicament. “Well I’ve tried bringing in art room stools in here before but it kind of became too obvious so now I just use a lot of hand sanitizer and hope for the best.” She said wit ha little shrug. “Also yeah they’re pretty dangerous but in the name of occult research I’m willing to face it ... I’ve never had anything happen before and that’s not an excuse, more of a ‘ I’m really hoping it’ll happen’.”

Reagan chuckled a little at Mae’s question. “I don’t think I could live in isolation like that, honestly. I’m too attached to modern technology and evidently, so are you. You’re so desperate to fix your laptop that you came to me for help.” She teased. “Dare me, huh? I wouldn’t do that if I were you, sweetheart. Careful what you wish for and all that,” she told her, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. “Humbling? I don’t know about that. Just hurtful…” She jutted her lower lip out into a pout. Giving her knee a squeeze, she nodded. “Of course, silly. It’s no bother at all. They should have it fixed by the end of the day so if you can survive without your laptop that long…”
Image
Mae frowned jokingly at Reagan’s words that were most definitely true. “Okay maybe we don’t live there forever but it would be a really cool vacation like a week or however long we can last - so far I’ve gotten 48 hours and counting up my sleeves.” She bragged. “Oh I never take back any dares or wishes, they make you better people even if they’re bad experiences like the time I was dared to climb up the roof while drunk - bad idea but my elbow is now stronger than all my other bones.” Once again bragging but also defending her rights to self deprecate in peace even around Reagan who was not on board with it. “Aw did I hurt your feelings? The ones I rarely see? That’s crazy.” She chuckled not trying to be too harsh but hoping she could play along well. “Well I’ve gone this long right? Thanks Reagan I really appreciate it even if you did tease me the entire time - you  know the internet is my life.”

this was the worst possible first interaction that anyone could ever have with the person they liked. they’d never even spoken before and winnie already put them in such an awkward situation. when it came to boys, winnie didn’t give a shit and rarely got embarrassed. but with alessia, it was a completely different story. “i didn’t know anyone else was in here.” she exclaimed, keeping her back towards the girl. “i’m gonna…i should go now. i’m sorry.” she adjusted her duffel bag. “we can just pretend this never happened.” how was she supposed show up for work knowing she probably looked like the world’s biggest idiot in front of a pretty girl that was way out of her league. as she was shuffling for the door, she just had to add to the embarrassment by slipping on some water and falling on her ass. “oh my god.” she groaned.
Image
She didn’t really expect this to be their first interaction,  she was hoping it would go much smoother in a way where Alessia could try to subtly flirt with her but though this was embarrassing for the pair at least it wasn’t the typical how we met story. “no no it’s okay I’m really quiet.” Alessia tried to compensate as she got a hold of her towel close by doing her best to tie it around herself while she could. “yeah we can definitely pretend uh it’s still okay though I’m not mad or anything.” She explained haphazardly trying to tuck in the end of her towel so she would be secure if anyone else showed up or if she turned around again which she thought unlikely. The girl she had been fawning over during her time working there had just seen her completely naked and even if she was interested in girls it probably wasn’t the best way to meet someone - oh well she thought just as she heard her walk to the door to head out but then heard the sound of her falling to the ground - it was a pretty wet room accidents were typical in here. Despite the previous situation, Alessia ran over to the girl to see if she was okay, she was a lifeguard after all, even in here with minimal water. “Are you okay?!” She asked her, offering her one hand while the other held onto her multicoloured towel. “Does anything hurt like too much? Don’t stand up if you can’t just yet.” She explained leaning down towards her more, definitely worried about her.

“Hey is my dad in?” She asked who she thought was his father’s secretary from the back and as she continued to look over a few numbers for him she didn’t really pay attention to the fact that she was not actually speaking to his secretary but someone who looked really familiar from behind. Eventually Madeline looked up from the charts to reveal that she was not speaking to Barbara. “Oh - I’m sorry, I thought you were Barbara wow uhm sorry.” She said feeling her face flush a shade of pink.

Staring at the back of the girl’s head had become a common occurrence for Onyx in class. At first it wasn’t really meant to be creepy she just sat in the back and it was all she could see but after noticing her, admiring her and realizing her slight crush on her, she had no other option to just daydream while she did so. Until she got caught. “Oh uh sorry? I didn’t catch that - I was kind of zoning out.”

“Oh uh...hi.” Onyx said as she watched the girl enter the bathroom while she sat on the floor with her ouija board. This was typical of Onyx to do after school when everyone had gone home and after school clubs were going on. She would turn off the lights, and try to interact with the supposed spirit of the first floor bathroom - a very not so typical sight for any normal person. “Uh I know this may look bad and weird but like...there’s an explanation?”

“Alright, alright. If it makes you that uncomfortable, I’ll back off… for now. Just know that there’s no shame in embracing your sexuality, babe.” Reagan offered her a genuine smile this time, chuckling a little at her reaction to the compliment. “Mhm, you’re welcome.” It was endearing, how she responded to kind words. “Yeah, but if I quit my job, how would I provide for my sugar babies, hm? And I certainly need my sugar babies around, they keep me young.” She rolled her eyes when Mae started to berate herself. “Shut up before I make you, you’re not.” She scrunched her face up at her. “Good to know you think I’m hot but overrated,” she said. Her gaze went back to the screen and she let out another laugh when pop-ups started filling the computer screen. “Tell you what,” she put her hand on her knee, patting it and leaving it there. “Leave your laptop with me. I’ll bring it into the office and ask the IT department to look at it. They’ll get it fixed for you.”
Image
Mae knew Reagan was sincere and though the teasing was turning her into an actual tomato at the moment she appreciated her words but all she could reply with was: “Yeah I know.” She offered her a small smile. “Ugh I mean I guess but we could really just skip all the sugar baby and mom stuff and just spend our time not caring about society and living in a bog which sounds really rad until we die of a lack of modernity.” She explained once again, not knowing where all this came from in her mind - was it the slight nervousness that made her spew out nonsense? She didn’t know and wouldn’t be telling anytime soon. “Oh I dare you! Am too.” She fought back. “It’s humbling right? I wouldn’t know but I imagine.” She chuckled now that she could be the one initiating the teasing. She could feel her heartbeat a little faster after the event of the pop ups but it didn’t stop when Reagan put her hand on her knee - it was really nice? “Are you sure? I don’t want to bother you too much but that’d be really cool of you.”

winnie’s aunt was actively trying to get her to expand her horizons, so her great idea for that was to get her a job at the community pool since it could ‘help her meet more kids around town’ as she put it. at first, she wasn’t very interested in coming here to sit in some shack with her middle-aged boss and deal with floats or goggle rentals. it really made summer seem like it was going to suck until she saw one of the lifeguards. winnie was not the kind of person who liked romance or got fuzzy feelings, but the moment she saw the other girl she felt her heart pounding in her chest. she never had a hard time speaking, but whenever the other girl even looked her way, it was like winnie lost her voice. but, as far as winnie knew, the other girl just saw her as a friend at work and she only liked boys. she hadn’t even known the other girl was in the locker room while she was getting her things after closing until she walked around a row of lockers, only to see her in the shower. “oh my god! I am so sorry.” winnie’s face turned bright red and she immediately turned her back to her. great. now she probably looked like a total pervert.

Although she was much more of a pro in the kitchen with her affinity for cooking, Alessia did have an array of hobbies one of which included swimming. She took it upon herself to get better at it and she did so with a few years of swimming and it paid off when she was able to get a job as a life guard at the local pool for the summer. She was ecstatic not necessarily about people drowning and having to save them even though there would be those moments when she was called to action but just the idea of one of her hobbies the only thing she was responsible for all summer. Once she got into the rhythm of things, Alessia began to notice all the staff, even one girl who worked at the rental shack - Winnie was it? She wasn’t too sure but she liked to look at her every now and then when she wasn’t frantically getting into the water to save someone. Although she spoke mostly to male coworkers, Alessia could happily say she didn’t really think of them that way even though it might appear that way to others. After the end of a busy and warm summer day, Alessia managed to get the showers all to herself well at least that’s what she thought until she heard a girl walk in on her. Alessia jolted, trying to cover her body as she yelled; “Oh my god!” She felt her flush a shade of red, noticing who it was. “No - no it’s okay, I mean it- it could’ve happened to anyone.”

“Uh huh, a likely story. If you watched ‘normal’ things, you wouldn’t have a problem with telling me what you liked to watch.” She continued to tease, chuckling as Mae avoided her gaze and how visibly flustered she was. “You’re too cute,” she said, with a smirk and shook her head. “I envy you, I wish I could be that clueless when it came to pop culture. My job kind of demands that I know what’s going on in that whole world.” She laughed at Mae’s words and nudged her again. “Hey, don’t sell yourself short. I’m sure you’d be an amazing sugar baby,” she teased, then rolled her eyes a little. “Wow, okay. I’m overrated, huh? You wound me, Mae. You wound me.” She put a hand over her chest, exaggerating an expression of pain. Her attention went back to the laptop screen when it lit up. “Mmm… we’ll have to see. Let’s try doing something on a browser, see if anything happens then.” Her hands moved to the keyboard and trackpad, brushing against Mae’s in the process as she opened up Google Chrome and typed in ‘YouTube’, hitting enter and hoping for the best.
Image
“Look I’m just uncomfortable with this whole conversation - I don’t care how normal or abnormal things are it’s still like...embarrassing.” Mae said her cheeks practically burning at this point. The girl’s eyes widened at the compliment, she never responded to these things well and her response really was a testament to that.“Uh-thanks, anyways uhm yeah that’s probably not all that fun to know whats going on in the pop culture world at all hours you should quit your job and be a hermit like me.” She said with a chuckle. “Well I’m a baby most of the time so maybe I could be a good sugar baby that being said I’m below average at everything.” Shrugging at Reagan not really caring for her self deprecating language. “Sorry but it’s the truth, you hear people talk about hot people all the time I’m just kind of over it.” She explained not really sure if she believed it in Reagan’s case “If you say so..” Mae said a little shakily as she moved her hands away brushing hers in the process - they were softer than she could really ever imagine. “So far so- Oh god!” She moved quickly enough to shut the laptop close as a bunch of those “hot singles in your area ads sprung up, leaving her mortified.
