So it’s been brought to my attention that my fics are being re-posted, whether it’s on another site or on Tumblr. I’m going to say this one time only.
I do NOT give anyone permission to post my stories anywhere else, and I NEVER will. So if anyone sees my fics posted anywhere else or if one looks eerily similar to one of mine, please let me know!
Someone has taken one of my fics, re-named it and made it a Pietro x Reader and posted it word for word. I’ve contacted the person and it’s been taken down.
Plagiarizing someone’s work IS NOT OKAY AND ITS RUDE AS HECK. People work hard on their fics, spend many hours coming up with their ideas to share on tumblr and to steal them is an extremely shitty thing to do!
If anyone sees anybody’s work out there that looks copied, please tell them! 💕We’ve gotta stick together.
This kind of thing makes me seriously consider not sharing my writing online anymore. And it’s happening more and more. Angers me more than I can explain.
Readers, if you see something familiar outside of Tumblr and AO3, please let the real writer know. And writers, post the usernames of these thieves so we can collectively shame them and protect each other. I don’t want to stop but I can’t stand this.
