dare i say millie as an ex kittypet would be more familiar with disabled cats living happy lives because it just seems reasonable to me that disabled kittypets would receive aid from their twolegs they otherwise wouldn't be able to access as feral. it would make more sense if millie was just scared of her children being harmed in general and feared briarlight wouldn't get the resources she needs living in the clans. she could have wanted to take her kits back to being kittypets and got in a fight with graystripe about it drawing a rift between them and their kits and /that's/ the thing that blossomfall is troubled over. millies's concern not being "briarlight is disabled her life has no meaning anymore" but "briarlight is disabled and she has specific needs now that can't be met living in the fucking woods she needs to be somewhere where humans can medicate her and operate on her and give her a mobile aid if necessary and just being here is a risk to her health and well being"
