Hey! Okay so here me out, for one I love your work and two, what is Bakugou got jealous that his girlfriend has been spending a lot of time with Kirishima, to train her quirk, and he gets angry and lashes out.
Note: Toxic Bakugou, Jealous Bakugou, Angst, Possessive behaviour, Bakugou has anger issues, Kirishima being a good friend, Bakugou raising his hand (not to hit you just cause his extra that way), flinching. Bakugou is an asshole in this one.
Okay @averytiredhuman, but he would. lets not lie to ourselves now. i wasn’t sure whether you wanted reader and him to make up or to be comfort, so I chose ANGST! that and Kirishima stepping in being a good boy.
Bakugou loves Kirishima. Kirishima is his best friend, his brother, his platonic soulmate. Bakugou would kill for Kirishima, he would die for Kirishima, he would choose Kirishima over his own mother, that’s how deep of a respect he has for his best friend.
But if he hears Kirishima’s name come out of your mouth one more time, he swears to God, he is going to commit homicide.
In all fairness, Bakugou was being a bit irrational. You and Kirishima were just friends. Close friends, especially after you started dating Bakugou. It was actually Bakugou who had urged you to get to know Kiri better because that was his best friend. You, of course, being the good girlfriend that you are, would get to know him too.
Now at first Bakugou was (low key) happy that the two of you got along. It made life much easier for him because now the two most important people in his life were easy around each other. But then he started to fall into something very dangerous.
Bakugou wasn’t blind. Kirishima was a great person. He was kind, thoughtful, put everyone before himself, sweet, great with kids, volunteered, the media loved him… need there more to be said? His best friend was Red Riot. Poster boy for Men’s Fitness Magazine and was shirtless at least 75% of the time. Big bulky and made of muscle yet had beautiful elements to him like the way his eyelashes framed his eyes or how soft his gaze was, or his smile. Eijiro Kirishima was the dream.
