No you don’t understand, I have this entire developed theory about the Ice Age universe which has been cooking up in my mind and has only be reinforced by the latest 5th installment. Scrat is the god of the Ice age universe. The story began with him and the story will end with him. If there weren’t hints before, in this latest installment, it becomes clear that Scrat’s actions dictate what happens on Earth and to the protagonists. Yes, maybe Scart’s only goal is to get the nut, but his actions SHAPE what happens in the film. If we needed any further proof then may I point out something Buck said in the 5th film along the lines of “we’re 6 mins early! Somebody up there likes us!” That phrase is usually used to refer to a god and in this case it’s used to refer (unknowingly) to scrat!
However, there is an ALTERNATE theory that I have been working on. What if Scart isn’t the god of the ice age universe, but rather, the NUT is? As i have already said, Scart’s actions shape the course of the story but what motivates Scart? That’s right: the nut, it is truly because of the nut that Scart does what he does that leads to the events that take place in the story. This would create an interesting metaphor here. Scrat is chasing the nut like man chases divinity. So when will the Ice Age saga end?? When Scart finally gets the nut for good. When man catches God.

The hate Daenerys gets for freeing slaves is crazy!
I know you probably don’t care why she’s getting criticized but I’m going to explain it anyway.
Now the first thing you have to understand is the process of freeing the slaves was incredibly violent. Oppressors tend not give up power peacefully so revolutions are usually violent. I think most people accept that. But Dany’s revolution came with unnecessary violence. There’s no tactical advantage to rape or murdering children. Both of those things happened though. Dany ordered the killing of children and she forgave the rape. I think some readers overlook just how violent it all was because it’s not spelled out all at once but over numerous chapters where Dany is dealing with the consequences.
At least the slaves are free though right? Not exactly. A lot of the slaves ended up on the streets. The younger and healthier ones were hired back by former masters to work with pay. But because Dany set no sort of minimum wage those wages were almost nothing. It still put the former slaves in much the same position as slavery did. They might have been technically free to go but where? To starve on the street? They had no real choices but to continue working for people who saw them as property for almost no money. The older and less healthy former slaves do actually starve in the streets. It seems the system of slavery kept slaves fed and housed even as they became too old or incapable of doing much work. Dany made no accommodations for this. The former slaves would have no money or property to help them once they were cast out into the streets and not considered hireable. These aren’t my opinions these are the problems Dany thinks about. Now some former slaves do find some success and that’s great but a lot more starved to death or are basically still slaves. And some are still actual slaves. Dany still uses slave labor. She won’t call it that because she pays them in food and shelter but that’s literally what slavery is. They receive no pay and are not free to leave. Again this is straight from Dany’s own chapters not my opinion. There’s also former slaves that are selling themselves back into slavery because their only other option is dying. Instead of fixing the problem she takes a tax on each transaction.
The problem with Dany freeing slaves is she really didn’t. Slavery continues and not just behind Dany’s back. Dany is keeping slavery going. Her “revolution” was just more of the same. The difference now is that things are much worse. Meereen is full of starving citizens, desperate people fleeing her rule, slaves and disease. Children of slain masters are left homeless. And Dany has had one foot out the door the entire time. She isn’t committed to staying in Meereen indefinitely to fix the problems she created. She is going to take away some of their desperately needed resources to help her get to Westeros. Meereen is basically on the verge of complete collapse at the end of ADWD and Dany is plotting her escape. There’s even a theory that she’ll burn Meereen on her way out to “free” them from the bloody flux and starvation. I personally think it’s likely to happen. 
When Dany stans try to brag about how she freed slaves I know one of two things to be true.
1. You didn’t read the books or you conveniently skipped the parts where it’s clear Dany is keeping slavery going.
2. You only care about praising Dany not about slavery. Mhysa is a master and that’s a fact spelled out clearly in the books. If you cared about the slaves you’d be critical of her letting them die or go back to slavery.
