In a new interview with Canada's iHeart Radio, EVANESCENCE's Amy Lee was asked about the recent rumors that LINKIN PARK has recruited a female singer and some LP fans' desire to see her step in as the replacement for that band's late vocalist Chester Bennington.

"That is an incredible compliment," she said after being told that she was a fan favorite to fill the slot (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). "I have not heard that. No, I have not been contacted [by LINKIN PARK] or anything like that. But [I'm a] huge fan feel like our worlds, our fanbases are a lot of the same people."

amylee: Had a lovely night with AMC last night for their upfronts event, where I had the honor of playing a special version of Bring Me to Life with my good friend and accomplice Dave Eggar as beautiful clips from Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches rolled and petals fell from the ceiling. All the same person! Don’t support profiles such as this one, and especially since they’re extremely rude to some friends I made through Instagram.

I’ll keep you updated on this profile, if I find anymore that they own. Guys, if you’re gonna be downright, extremely rude about something so silly such as an edit you see that you don’t like, you don’t have to like it or be rude. Just simply move on and forget about it instead of wasting your own time as well as the editor’s time by throwing trash over an edit you like they won’t take down.

Just for the record, these are some of my newly made friends and they have every right to post what they desire.

If you’re one of those people, please consider getting professional help to straighten yourself out rather than sending threats like these. It f*cking ridiculous, just be nice or go away. Don’t say anything at all, if you nothing nice to say, you don’t have to say anything, just keep it to yourself and that will save everyone a lot time.
