Jon is an ambitious young scholar desperate to prove himself. That is, until Jon's stopped in his tracks by the haunting cries of a being he had previously thought a legend. Should he continue on to his potential doom, or should Jon heed the oddly entrancing Banshee's warnings...?

Ok, but in all honesty, it's embarrassing how late this entry is. But things and stuff and LIFE happened all through november that got in the way. But at least it's up now, right? Better late than never, right??😅😅😅

My submission for the @seasons-in-the-archives Halloween event!

Melanie King is one of my favorite characters in the series. Here's a vintage horror movie style poster, which pays homage to a poster for "The Shining" (1980)

My drawing for the @seasons-in-the-archives Halloween event!

Martin is last and the furthest right and wearing a dull blueish gray sheet with dog surrounding him, he is slightly turned with his back to the others and wears a somewhat flustered and timid expression. His skin is light and dull and his shoes are dull blue converse. He is the tallest of the four.

My super late piece for the Spring Event for @seasons-in-the-archives! Ironically enough, despite this being a spring event, since this is meant to be during the Scottish Safehouse Era (which took place in October) this wound up being an autumn piece instead😆

Oh! Also this is a redraw of an older jmart piece I did two years ago that I'd been wanting to revamp since February.

Martin crawled back into bed like he’d crawled through the burned-flesh hole in his heart, and knew he still loved Jon.

Martin knew Jon loved him, too.

Jon had thrown away godhood for him, like it hadn’t mattered.

Maybe it hadn’t.

Jon loved him, and that meant they could fix this.

All Jon had to do was wake up.

He hadn’t thought he could.

Maybe we both die, but maybe not. Maybe everything works out, and we end up somewhere else.

One way or another, together. That was worth the risk.

Then he’d done the hard thing, the worst thing, the thing he’d warned himself he would have to do, and stabbed the one he loved.

The Web’s jury-rigged portal had taken them at once.

There’d been no time to process, no time to think, only to feel as they tore along the skein of pressure and speed, hurtled through the gaping wound between realities.

Martin hadn’t thought they’d wake up at all—never mind in some weird, brown field, three bodies under the moon.

Jon was bleeding, Jonah very dead, and Martin had not seen the tulips then.

It had been night, briskly cold under a star-choked sky. He had spotted a cabin and carried Jon there like he weighed nothing, shouting for help, bellowing himself into a hoarseness that would last for days.

The cabin was empty.

It was also unlocked, and Martin claimed it immediately as spoils of war.

Spring in the Archives Event - Sign-ups

Greetings all!! It's time for another Seasons in the Archives event!! This time we bring you another edition of Spring in the Archives! This is a mini-event hosted by the Seasons in the Archives team. It is the seventh event we've organised since summer 2021 and we would love to see your creations be a part of our newest venture.

It is a small, individual event centered around the general themes of rebirth, healing, growth, and also new beginnings. Writers will be expected to make a short one shot (between 3-4k words minimum) and artists are to create one illustration to completion (whatever that means for you). We're aiming for it to be a very lowkey, low-expectations, good vibes event.

The event is hosted on discord, which means that it is compulsory for every participant to join our server. You'll be able to talk about your plans, share/ask for resources and advice, and have fun! The SITA server is full of great people who've been doing some great art, writing, beta work and sensitivity reading over the past year.

Sign-ups are open now and will run until the 20th of March, and the event will run until its posting week, the week of May 18th 2022.
