its always "youre cute" and never "you have betwitched me body and soul and i love, love, love you."
fave czech expression of the day: oxidovat (lit.: to oxidize/oxidate), meaning to stand around, not doing shit really but somehow managing to annoy the fuck out of anyone present

i often day dream of my own place with white walls and an okay view in a european city that is bicycle friendly, with a river flowing through it. an apartment with a kitchen that has enough storage space to keep all my coffee making equipment. a queen size bed with just enough pillows and a warm blanket. maybe a cat or a dog running around, waiting to greet me when i come home. a small reading chair would be a nice touch, but i don't depend on it. a simple, sustainable lifestyle is all i want in my nearest future, and yet it seems so unachievable.

‘eat the frog' method
Hi all, it’s werelivingarts. I just stumbled across this method called ‘eat the frog’, which means you get the most difficult or important task out of your way first. I actually have been using this method for a long time, hope this post gives you a new way of managing your time and productivity! 😜
“If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the biggest one first.” – Mark Twain
I’ve said this before but: I love this kind of summer-autumn morning light. It is especially good on a Sunday morning when there’s nothing to do but drink coffee, read a good book, make plans or cancel them all to lie on the rug and listen to music and watch the dust in it.
herdrafts I’ve reached my reading goal already, I wouldn’t ever imagined I could read 40 books before December. Maybe because I’ve read many interesting books and read-along some others, anyway I still have more good ones for this autumn/winter so my reading challenge isn’t actually completed. I’ll post a complete list of titles later !
i wish people would stop romanticizing not eating breakfast and not getting enough sleep and being dependent on coffee to function and always being in a bad mood and treating yourself poorly because that behavior is very unhealthy for you
especially amongst students it seems to be a competition on who had the least amount of sleep or ate the least or didnt do their work. stop it!!! go to bed and eat breakfast!!!! seriously it isnt cute please be nice to yourself
27-08 was finally added to the last few working groups and spent the morning reading through my course pages and taking notes. also discovered the pencils my friend got me for my birthday a while ago have a left-handed print - no more upside-down prints for me when writing!
This is only a fraction of the issues the world is facing. This is not to say that Muslim’s are only facing hardship, I am simply trying to raise awareness about these specific countries. This post doesn’t cover all of it. Our brothers and sisters in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Albania, Kurdistan and so many more are still suffering. These are beautiful countries that are masked by war and famine.
All I hope from each of you is that you learn something new each day. If you’re reading this right now it is likely you come from a place of privilege. Use that privilege to educate yourself and stay informed on the issues this world is facing today.
