Some might have called him conceited or vain to say such a statement in front of his fellow crewmates, but Pavel Chekov wasn’t one to diminish his own accomplishments - even in a joking way. Sure, there were certain aspects of this job that he didn’t excel at, but that was why they had multiple different departments to specialise in that stuff. Holding eye contact with Echo for a while, her response elicited a groan from the younger man.

“I, um... this requires two people to fix, yes? We will be done faster if we work together!”

It took Pavel longer than was necessary to figure out what the Captain was hinting at, immediately ducking his head as the realisation dawned on him. “Нет, I do not think that is very true at all.”

Nearly everyone on the ship seemed to consider him a novelty of sorts, or a little brother to them. No one was interested... right?

“It does not matter anyway. Shore leave will end soon and then everything will go back to normal.”

Hearing it come from Jims mouth made it sound so stupid. It was just a dumb crush on another guy, why was he making such a big deal out of it? At least Jim seemed to understand what was going on.

“There is nothing to talk about. He is very pretty and I cannot comprehend it.” Pavel sighed, taking a drink from his glass.

Putting his head on the table, Pavel heaved a great sigh while running a hand through his curly hair in exasperation. Letting a bunch of people who had been cooped up in the same ship for way too long loose on a beautiful planet like this was bound to create some chaos, and this time was no different.

Looking up at the other man, Pavel took the measure of scotch in his hand, his gaze locked onto the amber liquid for a moment. “да. I heard about him from the other ensigns but... words did not do him justice.”

Tony/brashir Callout (Repost)

In case you missed it: Tony/brashir is a bully, with a history of harassment, doxxing, attempted hacking, lying, manipulation, and more. Several of his friends from his Discord server are also directly involved. My friends and I have been dealing with this in private for months now, and have been forced to take it public both to defend ourselves from his false claims and to protect others from having the same thing happen to them.

Tony has had the callout taken down from Google Docs twice now, so I’ve been forced to find other options of hosting it. You can now view or download a PDF version of the document from any of the following links: one, two, three, four, five. If you feel so inclined, please download a copy and share it with anyone you feel needs to be warned of what’s been going on.

I’ve also put together a shortened version of the callout, that only includes direct evidence of harassment and doxxing, so you can see that it has in fact taken place without having to wade through everything else. You can read that here.

After making this post, we are done addressing the matter publicly. We are tired of this and want to move on. None of us will be keeping tabs on Tony or anyone else involved; whatever they’re getting up to in their own time, we don’t care. If they leave us alone, we will return the courtesy.

I’m sorry for making your dashboard a negative place. If you feel any of us have done something unforgivable and no longer wish to be associated with us, we understand and will respect your decision. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me privately.
