I am almost out of the trenches.. I did all my taxes.. I finished two big comms I was really nervous about because of my own insecurity.... I sent my cousin some of the money I made from my commissions for her biopsy.. and we repaired all the holes in my sisters room and got rid of the mold.. I only need to do legit three more big comms and work will be less crazy. The electricity bill dropped today and its like 90 usd.. please.. if you like my art would you consider getting a print.. ! I have most of my gallery there n would love to get this electricity stuff out of my hair.. I have not had a break since January.. have not had time to make personal art.. please.. would love a break

Yeah hi. once again. is anyone in st paul missing a goddamn cat because apparently we moved on top of a black cat spawn point

This pair entered our yard together covered in burrs and completely, dangerously emaciated. Like, if you pinch their hips you can almost feel your fingers touch. We asked every neighbor around if they belonged to them or if they had seen them before and no one had seen them before.

They have bell collars and a slight smell of what i could only describe as "old lady perfume", so clearly they had an owner, but by their condition I would say they have not been indoors or fed in over a week.

we think a senior may have passed and their pets were dumped by family, or escaped after not being tended. We have checked pawboost etc. and our own Found post is going up.

I don't usually assign breeds to strays but I think they may be angora cats, their fur is unusually silky now that we have cleared the burrs from it, and their tails are massive plumes. as you can see, one also is polydactyl.

what is going on.

they (and the one that showed up last night) are getting taken for a chip scan as soon as any petsmart is able to see them (calling around tomorrow 11/21). everyone on pawboost facebook concurs that they were probably dumped based on their condition, and if they were, i genuinely wish a lifetime of stepping on broken glass on whomever did such a thing to these angels.

i sincerely wish that they were not dumped, but it's starting to seem like they were...like. they are *thin*, guys. I can feel all of their bones. but their coats are cared for? it's very confusing. would people dump cats with their collars still on?

well, just got back from the vet-- not only did she agree they were emaciated and probably out for a long time, but they had no chips.

We are lucky to have the space, but this puts us at 8 cats in the home- our 4 originals, one we fostered from a neighbor who could not keep him, and the three that showed up this week. The foster will be claimed by a friend once they can catproof their home, but we still need to have three of them vetted, chipped, fixed, etc.

i have had a few offers for donations, or suggestions that i ask for them. I don't like asking for monetary help online and was really hesitant to do this, especially with the holidays approaching and so many more urgent charities needing help, but if anyone has a few dollars to spare to help us with cursory vet bills we would be immensely grateful. <3 my roommate's paypal is ninamodaffari(at)gmail(dot)com
