In Love With My Car Vol. 2 Is Coming May 20th!

The proof is done and we're just giving the contributors time to correct any mistakes they find in their pieces. So get ready, because you'll be able to download the zine on the 20th!

We're suggesting a $10 (or equivalent in your currency) donation to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, but it's not required. Want to pay $5? That's valid. Not everyone has a lot of disposable income. Want to give $20? Thank you for doubling it. Want to just download it for free? Enjoy! We did this because we love the fandom, the donations are icing.

There are both SFW and NSFW options. The SFW has 153 pages of fic and art for you to enjoy, the NSFW includes about 40 extra pages of smut. Also, it's not all centered around the Bentley - we have horses, boats, Dick Turpin, a food truck and more.

The creativity I've seen while heading this zine has amazed me. It was fun putting this together. We all hope that you'll love what we've made for you.

(TL;DR. In Love With My Car will be ready for the public to download with an optional donation May 20th. There are SWF and NSFW versions. We'll have some flashy graphic that isn't quite so wordy as this silly post with all the information posted then.)

Information on the Zine's Release

Well, we've run into a little snag. Our wonderful graphic designer's computer has given up the ghost, meaning she's having to find alternate ways to finish the zine. This is going to delay the release by a few days.

I'll post the new release date in the next week. It won't be more than a delay of a week. The proof was posted today for the contributors to look at. We just need to give them a few days to get corrections in. Then, we can release our creation for free download.

Charity Chosen!

It was a close vote by our contributors, but one charity managed to squeak by to become our charity during our fundraiser - The Mercury Phoenix Trust! MPT was founded by the surviving members of Queen in 1992 in honor of lead singer Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 of AIDS-related complications. They have donated over 17 million pounds worldwide to grassroot projects that often get overlooked by big charities. Read more about them here:

The zine itself and its digital merch will be free to download. We do suggest a $10 donation, but if and what you donate is up to you.

(It's an appropriate gif. She, too, rose from the ashes. 🔥)
