The feeling of land under her feet after weeks on the ship felt unnatural. All her life she lived on land, never traveled and yet, the relatively short amount of time she spent as a crewmate of The Jolly Roger changed her perception of normal. She wondered about her father, she hoped he was alright. She tried not to think about him too much because every time her heart would clench and tears would start to prickle at the corner of her eyes.
The crew slowly left the ship and reached the shore, their legs shakily found the sand. Some of them would immediately lay down into it, others just stood there, taking in the scenery the island had to offer. She was looking around, checking on the crew. James and Ribs were already standing on the sand, some of the others were still pulling their boats to the shore, and Hook was still standing on the Jolly Roger.
