i’m so soft for eren rn so heres some boyfriend!eren headcanons on my mind:
- he’s a big fan of matching, but subtle. he likes wearing rings that match the gemstone of your necklace, he’s down to dye a strip of his hair the same color as your own, he has bought the two of you countless pairs of identical shoes— that sort of matching.
- his love language is physical touch so be ready to have his hands on you 24/7. walking down the street? arm around your waist. sitting on the couch? he’s pulled you into his lap. getting ready for bed? i hope you like a 6ft almost 200 pound blanket. you don’t need to be clingy back but if you are he just about dies every time you touch him. hold his face or play with his hair and he will literally die for you.
- he definitely has “wear whatever you want i can fight” energy. you wanna wear a skin tight latex mini dress and 6 inch heels to dinner with your girls? please do and send him pictures. he’ll even drop you off and pick you up so you can get as drunk as you want and he’ll make sure your safe. on the other hand if you wanna wear sweats and a baggy tee he will rock any one’s shit if they try to say you look bad. every look is perfect in his eyes.
- eren has pictures of you everywhere; in his car (one is taped near his speed-o-meter, “so i can drive safe” he says), in his wallet, his home screen and his lock screen, across the walls in his room and in frames decorating his apartment. lowkey it’s gives obsessed but in the endearing way. all of them are ones he took (he takes photos of everything you do practically) or the 2 of you together.
- he’s big on napping, and insists on you laying down with him. you make him feel so safe and loved :( it doesn’t matter if you sleep too, but he just likes to be held by you. his favorite place to nap is on the sofa because you have to be close together to squish onto the tiny thing.
- his favorite thing about you is how well you balance him. he can be really moody and confrontational sometimes, but he loves how you meet him where he is. he feels comfortable enough to show the full breadth of his emotions with you, and always loves when you show/tell him yours too. he loves the feeling of being someone you can count on.
- he’s kinda perpetually jealous? not in a bad way over course, just.. petty. like how come jean is still talking to you when all you asked him was to pass the chips? why is armin your go to ask for help on advanced lit and not him? (he doesn’t even take the class but still) he’s a big baby and will sit with a pout on his face when he feels like he’s not the center of your attention. just give him a kiss and it will go away :>
- saying i love you is his biggest pleasure. he learned it how to say it in like 15 different languages just so he could tell you it more. when you say it back no matter how many times he’s heard it his heart skips a beat.
- his biggest wish is that he could of brought you home to his mom. she was gone long before you came into his life but everyday he feels a tiny twinge of pain that the two of you could never meet. he knows she would love you so much. baby boy cried when he brought you to her grave and you sat and talked to her. “thank you so much for making him, i’ll keep him safe from here.”
