This is the number one story people ask for a part 2 for but I’ve always felt a part 2 would cheapen or lessen the emotion of part 1 bc I wrote it based off personal experience and in my experience you often don’t get apologies for when people diminish your intelligence. It’s also 4 or 5 years old at this point so a part 2 probably wouldn’t reach most of the people who read it. I hope you understand 💚

The words fell out of Peter’s mouth as he pulled his mask from his tear stained face. Ned turned around in his desk chair and pulled his earbuds out of his ears.

“What? No way.” He laughed dismissively at the assumed joke until he noticed the red rim around Peter’s eyes.

“It’s true. She broke up with me. She doesn’t want to be with me anymore.” Peter repeated through a childlike cry.

“But I thought you had a date tonight? Did something happen?”

This is so valid to feel this way. Unfortunately the only way to make it stop is to speak up. If there is one friend you are most comfortable with, maybe text them and say hey I know you guys were just kidding but it actually hurt my feelings and I’d appreciate if you didn’t say that stuff. Or next time they’re making jokes, walk away. That’ll show them you’re serious. I hope this helps and I’m sorry they’re being mean 💚

Every time I listen I pick a new fav song but Peter is so underrated and definitely one of my favorites. I think “how did it end” might be my ultimate fave but I really love Peter. I was listening to it yesterday and thinking of a reader who didn’t wait for Peter to come back from the blip and now she’s too old for him by the time he returns since he was a minor when he disappeared 😔 but her taking “Peter losing Wendy” and making a whole song is so insane of her. Great War is the most hunger games song of hers in my opinion but upon first listen of TTPD I was like yeah this is about the hunger games every other song. What afraid of little old me is so Peeta. PLEASE I saw those pictures so many times and no one in the comments was mentioning it 😭 it looked like he bonked his head bc it seemed swollen too but why no makeup to cover up the red mark 😭😭
