I wonder if he did this because during autos, someone told him that people took their jokes seriously and actually thought he hates Misha.

Remember this guy from 13x18?

I’m surprised that someone who is leading angels and obviously holds a high rank wasn’t given a name. 

Zachariah was given a name the moment we saw him in 13x14, whereas this angel’s identity is still unknown to us despite surviving the ep with a shot that makes it clear we’ll see him again. 

Maybe we don’t know his name, but we do know how the other angels refer to him.

You know who else has been called like that before? 

I’m not saying we just met AU!Cas, but… who am I kidding? I’m seriously considering the possibility that we did meet AU!Cas and I’m so excited to see if this speculation is true. 

I mean… the “Commander” in 13x18 didn’t do any killing himself, but he got to read the charges.

 Remind you of anyone who used to be duty-bound? 

Look at him squint when Charlie says “Champ, when the Resistance crushes you” 

He even had his “you should show me some respect” moment

Although his line was “Looking forward to it” to Charlie’s offer of being there to shred his feathers and grind them into dust.

I might be wrong, but… I’m certainly looking forward to the next time that we see the Commander. Bonus points if he has to face Dean in a fight.

Reading fanfiction would be a lot faster if I didn’t stop reading and put my phone down for a billion years after every single time I got secondhand embarrassment from the characters or I had to to stop reading cause it was too cute and couldn’t resist rolling around on my bed thinking how my so ship is amazing

Thank you! I didn’t know if I was alone in this or not! I have to switch apps or alt-tab on my computer all the time, mostly out of embarrassment for the characters or because it’s about to get real.

Something I can’t get off my mind

This has been on my mind for days, now, and I can’t shake it. Am I the only one noticing this?

We are all hyper aware of the net neutrality fight that is currently happening and what it would mean. The internet would be walled off by major companies who can then control what we are allowed to read and watch. This is horrifying, but things are in worse shape than that, though.

It was either today or yesterday, the magazine Time was purchased by a conservative group and the sale was financially backed by the Koch brothers. Time is not alone in this. National Geographic was bought by Rupert Murdoch a year or two back, as well. Local news papers are being snatched up left and right by conservative groups. Local news stations are all ending up owned by the ultra right-wing group Sinclair Media (which just got approval to buy even more than the 75% they already had). The extreme right, who is known in the past 20 years for propaganda, bigotry, and general misinformation, is seizing control of every facet of old media. They’re able to do so because progressive sources have consolidated online, rightly so as it’s the logical progression. But now, with the extreme right in office, they’ve decided to stop playing fair and turn off parts of the internet.

It doesn’t take a leap of logic to see that it highly likely these massive telecoms would like to ban any and all sources of left leaning or even centrist news that would criticize their practices. By doing so, the only media the public would have left is the old media, which is now controlled almost exclusively by the far right.

We are potentially about to be hit from two sides at once, here. Unless we can stop this battle to end the internet as we know it, we are in a lot of trouble.
