Caleb and Payton from High School Story by Pixelberry.

I had been planning on posting this image today anyway, but it turned out to be perfect timing since @playchoices announced that book 3 of the series will be released tomorrow. Can’t wait!

Caleb is one of the romance options from the visual novel version of HSS, and also happens to be my main character’s LI in the game, so obviously I was going to draw him for this month’s theme. Payton is in both the visual novel, as well as the original HSS app, but I chose to draw her in her original design mostly because I needed to see her full outfit (which I can’t see in the portrait from the novel version), and also simply because it’s the original, so it’s sort of the canon look imo.

What I really appreciate about both the original HSS game and the Choices version is that they are LGBT-friendly, allowing the player to select gender, and to pursue romances with same-sex characters (hence my male MC’s ongoing romance with Caleb).
