“Partner? No, no. I’ve had a few…I suppose you could call them more conquests. The odd toy, if I were feeling generous. Of the more disposable variety. I find that they grow rather dull and tiresome once the initial excitement wears off.”
“Truly spoken like an only child. I can tell that you never had to learn how to share. It took some time and some training, but there is something to be said about cultivating someone with Felix’s particular skillset to meet my own personal needs.”
“I would not have taken you for a man of such complex tastes.”
“I would hardly call this complex. It is rather simple, really. As long as Felix remains in position properly, he shall remain relatively pain-free. It shouldn’t be too much to ask of him; laying there is hardly a chore.”

“Is there something wrong?”
“Does something need to be wrong to visit, Felix? It sounds as if you do not even want us here. That is awfully inhospitable of you.” A slick smile settled on Arthur’s lips.
“Where are my manners?”
“It’s a little early to drink, don’t you think?” Wonka’s voice made Felix freeze in place. He could sense the implication in the words. Yet… he knew what Arthur expected in such situations. When the help were not around, Felix was to take their place. He looked to Arthur for guidance.
Arthur laughed, tilting his head. “Sometimes a little indulgence is called for. Men in our position do so often work so hard. We should not begrudge ourselves the pleasure of a good time when the opportunity arises. Should we, Felix?”
