You should actually read the entirety of what Bernie Sanders said, he's spoken out against Israel's policies a ton of times and this time is no different. He acknowledged that Israel suffered human losses but that's the extent of his "support", he decried their violations of international law and criticized US military support of Israel for its role in Gaza's occupation and the violence against Palestinians. Could he do more? Maybe, but to say that he supports Israel over Palestine is disingenuous.

I looked it over and I do admit that I spoke preemptively. From what i understand now, Bernie has, to some degree, condemned Israeli occupation (still referring to Hamas as a terrorist group), though it does seem like he's been reluctant to back a ceasefire. It still seems to me like he's kind of "both sides"-ing it and reluctant to take a hard stance. It still annoys me to see someone who's purportedly so "in the loop" respond like he has.

I'm going to leave the post up for posterity, but I'm going to disable reblogs because I did make it without really understanding what he said in its entirety.

They are telling me this man has been framed by the deep state out to stop big pharma and vaccines or Jewish laser beams or whatever.

But his comments are repulsive.
