silence reigns control over the atmosphere surrounding her, invi’s lips clamping tightly & she is grateful for her scarf shielding off such an emotion on her face. they were all told to keep the masks of their unions upon their face, to hide away their identities from those who can potentially use this information ( knowledge about how they look like ) against their own kind. everyone can be trusted, it’s just up to the person to deem them trustworthy or not. invi’s troubled by such a thought, but it seems reasonable when you realize that the war can approach them any time now.

Wisdom laced her speech, words woven together from both her own intellect and the master’s teachings. It’s something she’s earned, a trait she’s had since they gathered as disciples together. Nothing surprises him when it comes to the serpent’s masked Foreteller, yet unease still works within his heart.
Trust runs deep within the roots of their sibling students, something that held their foundation together. The masks and cloaks always seemed to be boundaries to him, however. They acted as walls, still keeping some form of distrust in the mix. Even how she worded it---- though wise, there was still the element of caution thrown in there.
It makes him want to prod more, to see if he’s the only one who feels this way.
