they are not. suicidal thoughts arent normal. violent impulses arent normal. delusions and hallucinations arent normal.

now that you have a name for this behavior you need to seek help. dont let tumblr trick you into thinking unhealthy coping mechanisms are the only ways to deal with your mental illness. dont let it fester, dont let it worsen. seek as much help as you can. actively try to better yourself.

Hello swifties so remastering is the process where older songs are updated for their production to sound more modernized, basically it is a digital update to the quality of the track.

Re-recording is doing the ENTIRE song over again from scratch. Vocals and all production, re-recording all the instruments, mixing etc

Taylor is not remastering her albums, she is doing a full re-record. I am seeing a lot of posts confusing the two terms and talking about remastered versions, and I think it would be important for us to not refer to the new songs as remastered, because her undertaking is so so so so much more and bigger than a remastering is

This is also important to understand because you can be sure that the new “owners” of Taylor’s masters will be doing everything they can to undermine the validity of what Taylor is doing in trying to reclaim her work.

Count on them re-releasing the original recordings as remasters, banging the drum on the word “original”, with lots of extras, timed very carefully to coincide with Taylor’s rerecordings. They may even try to fast track these to come out before Taylor’s, to take the wind out of any of her efforts, and to take the money of her fans before she has a chance to make her own case.

Their ideal scenario to sow confusion and discord will be to have people buy the remasters before Taylor’s rerecordings, and make her out to be the one that is abusing the good faith and goodwill of her fans by asking them to buy music that they’ve already bought again so recently.

The only way they can win is if you buy their remasters. Don’t do it.

If you care about Taylor and her artistic autonomy, avoid the word remaster. Avoid buying anything called a remaster. The word you want is rerecording.

oKAY LISTEN. so the theme is butterflies. there are four stages of metamorphosis.

the first stage is the beginning which would represent the reputation era. when she was still fragile and vulnerable and hurt. she needed to be protected and could be harmed easily because of it.

the second stage is development and beginning of growth. it was making changes and becoming a new person. growing and moving above challenges and pain and false accusations. it’s when she let go of reputation and decided it was time to express who she truly is again.

the third would be where we are now. she’s expressing how far she’s come and the changes she’s went through. she has become so strong and happy and beautiful throughout the last few years. she’s feeling herself and encouraging everyone else to as well. she coming out of her shell and she’s truly about to bloom into the beautiful butterfly that she’s becoming. getting off a dark path and becoming positive and healing from pain isn’t easy and she’s taken the time she needed to, to care and become her best self. the video is in a crystallize cocoon, she’s about to break through.

the fourth and final is what this era will be. her showing what she’s becoming and telling the world about it. the album will portray the light at the end of the tunnel with butterflies and rainbows and happiness and love and positivity. to be the best versions of ourselves and allow ourselves to heal and do what we need to do to get there.

THIS IS ALL IN MY HEAD AND IT JUST MADE SENSE AND FIT BUT WHO THE HECK KNOWS.
