they were both from sunkissed places, he’d grown up at casterly rock with the sound of waves and sea birds and sun always on his skin and she was from dorne which he hadn’t been to but he knew it was warm and bright there as well. the northerners did not know that warmth and often it showed. he hated them. they didn’t seem overly fond of him either though he cannot imagine what he’s done to offend a wolf. but he turns back to the princess instead of the strangers, he likes her more than most of the other people here. their mother’s were friends he remembers. “i cannot recall any stories were wolves are heroes, do you?”
