jack followed the sobs coming from his bed room and found you crying with a pile of clothes around you.
“baby. baby, what’s wrong?” jack asked, rushing to her side
jack held onto you as you cried, waiting for you to calm down.
“my clothes don’t fit jacky. i’m fat and my clothes don’t fit,” you told him, tears threatening to spill.
jack placed a hand on you pregnant belly and asked “what’s inside here?”
“our baby,” you mumbled, looking up at him.
“damn right y/n/n. you are growing out little girl and i’d be damned if i’ve done a shift job at making you feel hurting but loved and appreciated,” he swore.
“i just want to look pretty,” you whispered.
“darling, you could wear a trash bag and be the most beautiful girl in the room,”

The vodka redbull in your hand wasn’t strong enough. Maybe it was because the bartender secretly knew your ID was fake. Or maybe it was your friend, Wendy, hanging off the neck of a random guy in the bar like always. You were always happy to support her in the search of a nightly hook up but sometimes you wish you were her, the one chosen by the guys in the bar.
“You look like you’re having fun.”
Matt Rempe filled the space next to you at the bar. He wasn’t twenty one yet but his status in New York City with the Rangers was all he needed for the bartender to hand him a beer. “Tons of fun,” you mumbled taking another sip of your drink.
“I’m Matt.”
You almost scoffed. You were a longtime resident of NYC. You knew who he was the second you saw him and his fading black eye. “Matt Rempe. “yes princess,” matt answered from the bathroom. he walked into the bedroom and looked at his girlfriend.
“well i was wondering. umm you know you have a physical game, well i thought maybe you could teach me,” she mumbled.
matt smiled at his girl. “you wanna know how to fight,” he said smugly. adelaide nodded and matt placed a kiss on her head.
they move the living room furniture and matt buys well a mat to make the ground softer and he does a step by step guide on how to fight.
like he shows her how to take a guy down and she’s pretty physical because of her brothers and playing in men’s division.
literally one day braden schneider walks in on addy successfully taking matt to the ground and he walks back out thinking he’s interrupted something.
