Spoiler - it’s about David
They didn’t have to do David like that. I was still salty of how he died in the book for really no good reason other than to make Genya suffer. To have this come super fucking early? Like as if they hadn’t been through enough in the show since it’s fast paced and jam packed into 8 episodes. Come on. It could have waited until the next season if they had one. And yes, I’m upset for Genya, but David didn’t really shine until the King of Scars since he was an essential part of Nikolai’s team. Does anyone ever talk about how David was Nik’s go to man when it came to manufacturing his inventions and ideas. They thrived and we will never see that. Unless, he did not die since the didn’t find a body but I’m not banking on it since they don’t even know if they can secure another season. Big sads and big mads too tbh.
