Is there such a thing as too many do overs?

Day 1 starts today. I quickly realized earlier this year that between my own wedding and the 7 other I was attending this year that I did not make dieting/lifestyle change a priority. I was spread way too thin and going 100 miles a minute. I’ve basically maintained what I loaded a year ago- which isn’t a total loss but after the amount of Halloween candy and indulgences I had- hope that’s not the case.

So I’m back and I’m ready to rejoin the tumblr world. Here’s crossing our fingers my keto flu doesn’t wipe me on my ass in the next few days.

I debated posting today since I was up. But with traveling this weekend for my Bridal Shower and basically eating all the carbs and sweets. I’m okay. .2 isnt amazing but it also isnt horrible. I also did have a Dutch Bros Freeze yesterday and today- that now needs to end because they are the devil and a downward spiral of sugar and caffeine. In my cousins wedding this weekend- will try my best to celebrate and be smart about food choices.

I’m so close to be being better but the next 3 months will be an extreme challenge- 3 more weddings I am in, 1 more wedding to attend, 1 more bridal shower for me, 1 bachelorette weekend for me, Sierra Nevada’s Oktoberfest celebration and then finally my wedding.

I am so grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing women. Thank you all for helping me feel so loved and for being in my life! Also diet was not followed on Sunday- I tried but my aunt who threw my shower made me home made red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. It was to die for. I do not regret it at all. #meetusonthesummit (at Montclair, California)

I am slowly creeping back up to 20 lbs lost. I also didnt really have a good eating week this week. I did okay there was so cheats in there and going over my carbs. I also did weigh myself last week and I was flat and was frustrated so I didn’t post it- I was also bloated from my period and I think that had something to do with it but I went with the mentality if I didnt post it, it didnt happen but that doesnt help anyone.

This is our backyard garden. We have 5 planter boxers full of different peppers- Thai peppers- bell peppers- jalapeño, three types of tomatoes-cherry-Roma-sunburst, spaghetti squash, cucumbers-Armenian and Lemon, strawberries, yellow crook neck squash, and zucchini. We also have herbs in the tiny box- basil, mint, rosemary, etc. I don’t take any credit for the garden- all Eric. I just eat some of the bounty.

When you actually have some time to meal prep. Ground turkey (didn’t have beef in the freezer), squash and zucchini from our garden, and mozzarella cheese with some olive oil. Super simple and easy. Especially with a busy week.
