things that make me feel better about myself that I think a lot of people forget

those little things on ur nose aren’t blackheads, don’t try and get rid of them they’re sebaceous filaments and they’re permanent and literally everyone has them

every girl has that little pouch of fat on her lower tummy, despite what magazines try n show u, you have important organs there that need to be protected don’t try and get rid of ur pouch

ur body is smarter than u think and it knows what to do when u eat more than normal. one bad day, or even week, of eating poorly isn’t gonna ruin anything at all I pinky promise

if u think u look good up until u try taking a selfie, it’s not ur fault - our faces are asymmetrical and when u see ur face flipped it will look unnatural to u, since u don’t see it that way when u look in the mirror. to everyone else it looks perfectly fine

no one’s stomach looks the same at 8pm as it does at 8am. no one has a chiseled six pack after a day of eating, not even the super fit people u see on tumblr, because ur stomach naturally expands after eating and expecting to have a flat tummy before bed is very unrealistic

no one notices if the bags under ur eyes are bad today. no one pays attention to the bump in ur nose or the zit on ur chin or the piece of hair that u missed when u were straightening. literally no one notices these things except you so stop worrying about it ur gonna be fine

JB Imagine - Missing You

A/N - This one is inspired by a vlive broadcast of JB I rewatched recently from August last year where he was looking super soft in a hotel room. Hope you all enjoy and do send in any requests you have for me~ 

It was late at night and you were lying in bed, unable to sleep. Your boyfriend, Jaebum had been away for the past 3 weeks and you missed having him beside you at night. Whenever you struggled to sleep, he would always wrap you up in his arms and cuddle you, singing softly in your ear until you managed to fall asleep. As he was on tour, he was in a different time zone to you which made it harder to talk to him on these sleepless nights. Glancing at your phone, you groaned at the time it displayed. You were supposed to be getting up in around 5 hours yet you barely felt tired. Hoping he wasn’t busy recording, you scrolled to his contact and video called him. Almost immediately he answered and his face lit up your screen. A smile stretched across his face at the sight of you until he remembered the time difference.  “Babe, isn’t it really late over there? Shouldn’t you be sleeping?” He asked, concerned that you weren’t resting.  “I can’t sleep. I miss having you to sing me to sleep.” “I wish I could be there with you right now. It kills me knowing you’re feeling bad. I’ve finished my schedules for the day so I’m just in my hotel room now. Do you want me to stay until you fall asleep?” You nodded enthusiastically as Jaebum giggled softly at your cuteness.

Even hearing him laugh made you feel at ease. All the stress and frustration you had felt from not being able to sleep had dissipated, leaving you feeling much more relaxed and calm. It still didn’t make you miss Jaebum any less. Seeing him through your phone screen helped, but nothing was quite like being curled up in his arms, feeling him pressed against you. As you told him about your stress-filled day, you listened the music playing in the background. It sounded like one of his usual playlists that he often played around the house which only made you miss him more. Jaebum had so many playlists dedicated to you, all filled with songs that reminded him of you. It was even cuter when he got embarrassed that one time you caught him listening to the playlist he made for when he was missing you. “Enough about my day,” you said, wanting to hear more of your boyfriend’s deep voice. “What schedules did you and the boys have?” “We’ve been doing interviews all day so nothing exciting. Pretty boring, actually. It’s worth it now that I’m talking to you though.” “Ah, so cheesy. Such a flirt,” you teased.  “But clearly you love my flirting otherwise you wouldn’t be showing that adorable smile of yours, would you?” “You got me. I secretly adore it when you flirt shamelessly like that,” you said, admitting defeat as you laughed at your boyfriend’s victory shouts. 

“Remind me again why I’m dating you?” You asked as you smirked at the offended look on Jaebum’s face.  “You’re dating me because you love me and can’t resist how sexy I am.” “Right, whatever you say, babe.” “Why does it all of a sudden feel like I’m dating Jinyoung with this savageness?” “Damn you figured it out. I’m actually Jinyoung in disguise.” “Oh my god, no wonder you get so jealous when I eat at a restaurant with Jackson and not you,” he replied, laughing. You found yourself yawning and your eyes had begun to feel heavy. “You should try and get some sleep, love.” “Will you sing for me?” You asked as Jaebum’s eyes lit up at your request. He never told you, but he secretly loved singing for you. One of his favourite memories with you was the first time he sang to you, his arms around you as you listened to his voice. He’d almost died from how cute you looked trying to stay awake to hear it. Tonight, even if you weren’t in his arms, he wanted to watch you slowly drift off to sleep at the sound of his smooth voice. Jaebum began to sing one of your favourite songs, something slow and calm. You smiled sleepily into the camera as you closed your arms, humming along to the sound of his singing. It wasn’t long before you drifted out of consciousness and felt sleep take you. Jaebum sat there for a moment, just watching your sleeping frame. “I love you so much, (Y/N) and I’m missing you more than you’ll ever know. I promise I’ll be home soon so I can cuddle you and sing for you properly. Good night, my love.

Other important red flags to keep in mind: someone who wants to jump into emotional/financial co-dependence very fast (like moving in together right away, or becoming each other’s only confidantes right away) and won’t take no for an answer; someone who tries to minimize how often you leave the house or interact with other people; someone who threatens you or themselves or your family or pets or possessions or financial future; someone who uses guilt to keep you from leaving a relationship.

Very important reminder: You do not need a reason to leave a relationship. Neither does the other person (or people). A relationship is over when one of the people in it says it’s over, period. Obviously it’s kind to take the end of a long relationship seriously, but abusers and manipulators have lost the right to that conversation. Lie if you need to–your safety is much more important than their feelings.

Trust your instincts!
