I cannot with how much Gon loves Killua. Like, he took Leorio’s DIRTY KNIFE and cut his own eyelid to reduce the swelling so he could keep playing Gotoh’s game so he could get to see Killua. And he straight up told Illumi that he was going to TAKE KILLUA AWAY and never let him see Killua ever again. AND he believes in Killua so much he comes to the conclusion that Killua must be being manipulated and forced to kill. Part of me is like Gon calm tf down you are 12 and the other part is like YES you’re doing amazing sweetie.

if you don't mind the addition, i also want to note that gon does all of this with absolutely no combat training whatsoever. this isn't post greed island gon souped up on nen & battle strategies. this is a twelve year old kid who's never been taught how to fight going up against the most dangerous family in the world armed with nothing but a fishing rod & devotion. it boggles my mind how easily people lose sight of gon's love for killua. i know killua has all the long, dramatic inner monologues, but gon's actions speak every bit as loudly.
