I think I'm going to start a new blog, and delete this one. so many of the people I used to know on this site are gone so perhaps it is time to start anew. Besides, my beliefs and practices have changed so much over the (almost 8?) years I've been exploring witchcraft that the parts of me I've saved here are unrecognizable and are no longer a reflection of who I am now. and because of that I dont care to reblog or share anything here. I started this blog as a kid, and im almost 25 now.

anyway the point is, its time to start over.

I think a lot about who I am to other people in the world–particular who I am to strangers as a mere concept in their lives.

Today this woman called our information desk and said, “my son’s band is playing tonight. I want to come see him, but he never answers his phone…..I want to be there. Have you heard anything about his band?”

And I felt so bad for this lady but I’m not in the music scene around here so I had to tell her no, sorry.

Five hours later, I’m hiking and run into a group of guys setting up for some outdoor performance, and as I watch them unload the drums it hits me.

“Hey,” I said, “are y’all in a band?”

They said yeah and smiled and I told them “one of your moms called today. She wants to watch you play, but she can’t get a hold of you. Call your mom.”

And they all pulled out their phones and started discussing whose mom it probably was as they presumably dialed their own.

And now, unless we meet again and recognize each other, that’s who I’ll be forever to those guys–some mysterious courier for mom-messages who came out of the woods and told them their mom called.

I didn’t even tell them why their mom called me. Who am I to their mom?? Nobody even asked. They just took my word for it and called their mothers.

I work at a rock shop, we have had these boys forever but due to some tik tok trend last week we have been getting people just comming in and rushing for the bands. Not to mention when they are like “man i hope yours does not break” and I tell them they are fragile and you should be careful with them they get angry with me since the only way the can possibly break is by vibes alone and not jusy throwing your hand down on a table too hard.

I’m one of the mods in this server ! Its nice and casual, you don’t have to talk everyday if thats not your vibe but we are trying to grow it so that our more chatty members have other fun people to talk to! 

The starting age is 16 but I myself am 24 (25 this year 🤢) as is the other mod, so we have nice balanced mix of both older and younger witches. 

We also have a few ‘mundane’ channels so if you don’t always have anything to talk about witchcraft wise but still want to get to know people there’s plenty of ways to do that 😊 And on the other hand if you only want to talk about witchcraft related things you’re welcome to mute the mundane channels you aren’t interested in.

Actually spiderverse was really cute in how loosely its used its ‘i love yous’ and especially how none of them were romantic!! I mean obvsly theres miles’ dad making him say i love you before school, but theres also peter’s quick “i love you, im so proud of you!!” during the fight (which he said so easily and delightedly!! He was so proud and happy about this kid omg), and noir saying “i love you all.” as a goodbye when he goes back through the portal like i cant think another superhero movie, or most movies in general tbh, who use the word love so carefreely. and maybe it has something to do with the fact that spiderverse is animated, but its just really refreshing and sweet, its adorable to hear every time and shows how close and family-like all the spiders got so quickly!

Hey pagans, this is a friendly reminder that it isn’t enough to not support the influx of white supremacists, nazis, terfs, and other bigots into pagan spaces. It isn’t even enough to be anti-white supremacist, anti-nazi, anti-terf, or anti-bigot. You also have to support the people that these groups seek to drive out. Being “anti-x” does not automatically make you “pro-people that x hate.” If we as a community don’t channel the same amount of energy we put into hating bigots toward supporting marginalized communities in our religions, then we aren’t really making paganism a more welcoming religion in the most impactful way.

Support black voices. Support native voices. Support voices of color. Support trans voices. Support queer voices. Support Jewish voices. Support disabled voices. Support neurodivergent voices.

Be as aggressively pro-marginalized communities as you are anti-bigotry. Hatred has no place in paganism, but our too-often-forgotten siblings do.

Timeline Of The Man Who’s Been Stalking Me On Social Media After We Banned Him For Being Ableist:

Early October: White Man gets banned. Takes to harassing my friend about his banned. He made an ableist comment (can’t remember what it was now). My friend is spending time with their fiance because of Personal Stuff I Can’t Say. He ruins their staycation because he keeps harassing my friend. Mid-October: Man starts screencapping my tweets after I block him because I feel like he’s creepy. Starts telling his followers that I’m stalking and harassing him.

He also posted my Discord account publicly (I changed the tag now because I have nitro). He also posted out of context screencaps of my account in server (the server is now deleted because of this person and I was saying that T/ru/m/p would die a horrible death from COVID..

October 30/31st to early November: I go off of private because I felt safe finally coming off private. Within a day, he starts screencapping my tweets about him again. (part 1)

From then on, I received death threats from one of his friends, and he has been misgendering both me and my friend over being banned. For being ableist.

I came off of private November 25th. Today’s the 28th. I changed my handle. I changed my pfp. I changed my handle again. And he found my account. Again.

And just now, at 1:22 AM, November 28th, he started following my Instagram account.

Men. Are. Terrifying.

Edit: His pinned tweet is also a tweet about him by a woman who was murdered. He knows that the woman was murdered three days after his tweet, but he thinks it’s funny that he aggravated her and then she was murdered. So y’know. Not sociopathic behaviour at all.

Edit 2: My other friend *just* sent me a pic of their Twitter notifications and he started following them.
