Jeweliciousness

@the-jewel-spot / the-jewel-spot.tumblr.com

Hi jewelry fans and fellow gem nerds. Thanks for stopping by. This blog is a reworking of an older blog that was deleted by mistake. First things first, we (one perm blogger and one temp blogger) are gemological and jewelry professionals with many years experience in the field. We have a shared special love for Natural and Cultured pearls, so you will see lots of pearl images and information in between jewelry posts. When possible we hope to share latest industry news and updates. While we are happy to share images of gemstones and jewelry at the same time hopefully imparting small doses of education, please do not endeavor to curate our blog content for us. PLEASE NOTE: We do encourage participation and commenting, but be kind to one another and to us. We do not tolerate trolling or internet hate of any kind and will block those types of followers with rapid joy. We are not here to contribute to the spreading of misinformation, we are not responsible for the comments added to our posts from others reblogging our content and adding their own commentary. Most content is found on the web and not owned by us. Attribution is applied when known and where it is practicalImages or work owned by us and our sister blogs will be noted as such. Jewelry Designers featured here does not imply endorsement. For Image removal request please contact us.

Oooh bare shoulders and pearls...let us hope this isn’t too pornographic for Tumblr after pearls are very sexually provactive

( actually never mind that last bit...B1 just whispered to me a naughty blurb about pearls )

Quick Programming Note

Dear lovely followers:

  We do miss you folks an awful bunch. However Tumblr is being rather impossible most recently. Our Jewelry and Gemstone focused blogs are apparently worthy of censure and thus we have been battling with the Tumblr machine. Things are flagged as banned content or blocked for moderation etc...it is becoming a headache to provide content. We just aren’t as active because of it. We also want send a note of appreciation to the kind followers that voiced concern over our blogs being flagged. We do thank you for your vigilance and support. So sorry we aren’t around too much these days.  As tumblr enacted its archaic and out of touch rules to appeal to a tiny subset, many creatives, artist and self expressionists have been placed out in the cold, as a result our follower base dropped considerably and couple that with the amount of time we put into blogging just to have Tumblr block, flag or otherwise impede our content we think twice about the effort’s worth. And though we just aren’t as quick to post and share content...for those of you that have stuck around thank you so much.
