【特報】ユーリ!!! on ICE 劇場版 : ICE ADOLESCENCE
Today, the official Yuri on Ice twitter account uploaded the Ice Adolescence teaser that they first showed during the January/February 2019 cinema marathon of the anime (it was just the TV anime as we know it with this teaser screened at the end, you can read my report from that here).
They have also uploaded an apology, saying that they are still hard at work on the movie, but they are still unable to announce an official release date.
Kubo has also tweeted a short message:
“The entire staff is working hard to deliver the hottest product we possibly can. Thank you for your continued support.”
You can also stream the new teaser on YouTube and I strongly encourage that you do, to show your continued excitement and support for Yoi!

What studio MAPPA says about Victor and Yuuri
It’s been a while since YOI had any news so I wanted to post an important report from the MAPPA panel at Anime Midwest in 2017:
Manabu Otsuka (CEO of MAPPA and who greenlights the contents in the studio) Talked about how Sayo Yamamoto had struggles with other studios and people because of the romance between Victor and Yuuri ( Otsuka used 恋愛 which unambiguously means romantic love).

It’s finally here! We’re happy we were able to complete the manga on the same day as the first episode of the anime will air. I really can’t wait to see what Sarazanmai will be like and how much we’ll see of the Reo, Mabu and Sara we’ve gotten to know through the manga.

Shipper noticed that if you flip and mirror this image the text on the bottom says “IN CHARGE” and now that I’m looking at the image more closely I can see that it’s written behind the title as well.
That’s pretty interesting! This image in general is incredibly fascinating! Reo and Mabu look so cool and stylish and pretty villainous. Is this a scene from the anime? Will there be anything alluding to this in Sarazanmai or is it just a fantasy by Ishikawa?
What’s that percentage? What is it counting? The desire exploitation/ extraction??? I can recognize the Azuma bridge, but what’s that huge construction over it?

Sarazanmai Radio Translations/Summaries Masterpost
In January, Ikuhara Kunihiko and Suwabe Junichi began hosting a weekly online radio show meant to promote Ikuhara’s upcoming anime Sarazanmai, which will begin airing in April, and since I haven’t seen anyone translate any of it, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I know I’m mainly a Yoi blog but Ikuhara is known for LGBT themes in his anime, so I think his upcoming show will be of interest to you guys and also Suwabe voices Victor, so that’s enough of a connection haha.
The synopsis of the anime goes as such: The stage is Asakusa. One day, three second-year middle school students — Kazuki Yasaka, Toi Kuji, and Enta Jinai — meet a kappa-like creature named Keppi, who is the self-proclaimed heir to the throne of Kappa Kingdom. Keppi forcibly takes the students’ shirikodama (a mythical organ kappa steal through a person’s anus) and they are transformed into kappa. Keppi informs them, “If you want to return to your former selves, you need to connect in ‘that way’ and you must bring me the shirikodama of zombies.” Will the three boys be able to connect and take the shirikodama of zombies? At the same time, two policemen, Reo Niiboshi and Mabu Akutsu, try to do something at the police box where they are stationed.
