Yousuke was PROBABLY taking this a little too far , but to be fair , it wasn’t OFTEN that he actually beat Nicole at a game . Has he been practicing ? Well , he will certainly deny it if anyone asked . Yousuke liked to think he wasn’t THAT competitive ( especially when it comes to Nicole , ) but that would be a straight up LIE .
Chestnut eyes soon narrowed upon the girl the moment her tone shifted into something SWEET LIKE HONEY ( just like her . ) Swallowing past the lump in his throat , Yousuke pulls at his collar a bit , he glanced off to the side a bit . ❝ ... Hehehe , I WAS pretty cool , wasn’t I ? ❞ He mumbles out , sheepish in nature .

IT’S MAY 11TH GUYS ! Do you know what that means ? It means I should be able to return from my hiatus !! I meant to return Sunday , but some things came up . Anyway , I am gonna try and work on some of my drafts here . I am going to be bouncing back and forward between here , @tmestmp , and @denovment . You CAN’T beat me , no matter how hard you try , ❞ he states , even as she moves closer against him , arm wrapped around his broad ( and toned ) frame . However , when she makes a GRAB for the prize , he jerks away and steps out of reach once more with a tut of his tongue and a wag of a finger . ❝ Hey , hey now ! YOU DIDN’T ASK NICELY . So , either win your own or put on your best PUPPY DOG face . ❞

busy, busy, busy!! just so everyone knows, i am going to finish all of my drafts and either mass post or queue them!! i currently have 4/10 drafts done and 0/4 starters done. rip. work is killing me cause my bosses are both out on vacation for a week, so im here suffering between classes and work.

“A job?” The younger boy echoes, before falling silent. He wasn’t old enough to work here, he didn’t think… && it took a while to get here on the train… not nearly as long as it did on bike. Mother && Father had been hinting that he should start saving money for college, && maybe an after-school job wouldn’t hurt? He thinks about it some.
“Um… what are the requirements?” He’s only fifteen after all… He was smart enough that he didn’t need to go to cram school directly after, && he didn’t do anything but study all day anyways. Working might be a nice change of pace for himself. Hopefully he could work here, && if not, he knew a few older classmates that would never deny a chance to work.
The male nodded his head in confirmation , using his pen to scratch SHEEPISHLY at his cheek . ❝ Yeah , a job . We’re a bit short - staffed , so we’ve been hiring for some time, ❞ he explains . Age was hardly an issue for him , seeing how he worked under his father at FOURTEEN and hired a bunch of other Inaba students ( including Saki ) .
Taking a quick moment to look the boy over , he nods his head quietly . ❝ Nothin’ much . We offer paid training , and all I ask is that employees actually SHOW UP to their shifts. ❞ He will even tolerate SLACKING OFF on the job , as long as they show up . It was probably bad for him to have such LOW STANDARDS , but it was what kept his current employees working for him ; he was still learning the ropes , but as soon as he gets a hang of it all , he was determined to turn the place around .

She’s tending the cafe alone, Sojiro having returned home early per Futaba’s request. Hair pulled up in loose ponytails, the ravenette closed her schoolbook, setting it away gingerly behind the counter near where Morgana was napping.
He didn’t look like a regular– was he lost? He wasn’t too awful-looking either, but that wasn’t particularly important; she was working, after all. Not to mention she wouldn’t have time to pursue a relationship with how popular the Phantom Thieves had been getting recently.
❝ Can I get you something? I recommend the house special– curry and a cup of coffee. ❞
WHAT A DAY . All Yousuke really wanted to do was study ( surprise , surprise ! An all new Yousuke Hanamura , who was ACTUALLY taking school seriously ! ) but it seemed like his room mates had OTHER ideas . While he did not mind the occasional parties , he had a project to prep for . Which was why he found himself here , in a cafe where patrons seldom came by to visit .
Greeted by a calming voice , his head snapped up before he smiled brightly . Finding a seat , he placed his school bag upon the counter . ❝ Coffee and curry together ? That sounds like such an UNUSUAL combination -- I think I will try it , ❞ he exclaims with an excited chuckle . Gesturing to his bag , he cradled his chin in his palm . ❝ Hey , do you mind if I study here ? ❞

Myles can’t help the quirked brow stare at the odd looking thing the stranger was holding and tries to stifle a small chuckle as he’s caught looking.
“I’m not one for reprimanding children for running with scissors because I think it means natural selection is hard at work, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t the least bit curious about what it is you’re hiding. Is this for theater?”
This was bad , real bad . Still , it did not seem like this guy was going to RAT HIM OUT to the cops or something , so he supposes he can relax a bit . They were merely lucky that Dojima happened to walk in on them at the station before they could be booked , saving their skins without a doubt . Still , Yousuke cannot help but feel a little INSULTED by the other’s words , even if he doesn’t show it .
❝ Somethin’ like that , the props are pretty COOL , huh ? They almost look REAL . ❞ And here his FOOT IN MOUTH syndrome was getting the best of him .

Kindness from strangers could be surprising. Sometimes, she couldn’t erase how she thought of herself as invisible. Only noticeable when someone took interesting in her appearance, rather than who she was as a person. Some days, it was hard not to think that way. In this moment though, she was focused on a genuine act of care. He didn’t have to help her, after all.
Her thoughts didn’t last long. His comment momentarily caught her off guard, until his tone registered. Her lips curled upward into an amused grin, “Oh? But, darling, it’s still the proper thing to do!” she chuckled. Her own words were light, playful.
She had a pretty laugh . Naturally , he thought so with an INNOCENT mind - set . Granted , he wasn’t blind to her beauty , but he was mature enough ( he’d like to think , anyway ) where that should not be a factor -- especially if the lady seemed to be in some kind of TROUBLE . ❝ What have I done to get so LUCKY ? ❞ He asks , but the question itself was a little DEPRESSING . In truth , he felt doubtful he’d EVER find someone on his arm .
Once they are out of the building , he slowly slides his arm away from her since the facade was no longer needed . ❝ Are you okay ? ❞ He asks her , now that it was safe to do so without bringing her ( or him ) any trouble .
