when the other agreed to a blanket and some hand warmers, she grabbed one of each before handing it over to the other. "you're welcome" ivy said before thinking about the question the other had asked. "i wish i knew. it hasn't snowed like this in new york since before i moved here and that was over ten years. i think we need the snow to stop falling before we have an idea on when we can leave the arconia" the girl said looking at the other. "are you okay? do you need anything else?" ivy asked looking at evie.

" yeah, if the snow could stop... that'd be great. " she nodded. the femme had lived in new york all her life but she had never felt panicked over being stuck somewhere. perhaps it was just the knowledge that she wouldn't be able to get out of the hotel in particular. "i'm good. i think that's all, just getting used to the idea of it. being here and unable to come and go as i please."

ivy hadn't seen snow like this in new york while she had lived her. the amount that fell in the small amount of time was really incredible. ana and her had been watching the snow fall from her balcony window when the power went out. she grabbed her flashlight, their big coats and ana and ivy made their way downstairs. it looked like the entire hotels power was out so she wasn't the only one to be heading to the lobby to find out what was going on. by the time she had got downstairs the lobby was lit up with candles and the arconia staff were rushing around making sure everyone was okay. ivy had asked if there anything that ana and her could do to help so they were now handing out blankets and hand warmers to anyone who needed them. ivy smiled when she saw a familiar face, "would you like a blanket and some hand warmers?" she asked.

being snowed in was sending evie into panic mode. the power was out, so she had to bundle up in one of her cozier outfits and a big coat wrapped around her. finding her way to the lobby itself was a trip, but realizing that there was at least seven feet of snow keeping her from just waltzing out was jarring. she was in almost a daze when a familiar voice caught her attention and she repeated the question. "would i like a blanket... and hand warmers?" she felt silly for the repetition when she brought herself back to the present moment, nodding her head. "yes, thank you. how long do you think this will last?"

Lindsey frowned. She had just left the bar not even 60 seconds ago, and she was already lost. What was even more embarrassing was that she had lived here six months and still didn’t know her way around. Granted most of the time she ventured outside of her room, it was with the intention to be completely trashed by the time she came back home. Though today was somewhat of an exception, she was only mildly tipsy.

“Why does EVERYTHING have to look the exact same?” She grumbled. She peered again at the map and then at her keycard. “FLOOR EIGHT!? Sure put the drunk girl on floor eight. She’ll find her way.” She sighed taking off her heels as she made her way to the elevator.”

a night at the hotel bar wasn't anything foreign for evie. she wasn't the stay-in type of girl. she enjoyed being indulged in luxury far too much. her apartment was extravagant enough, but she also sort of worked there and she needed breaks. she's leaving the bar when she hears the other's rantings and can't help the slight laugh that slips. she's not laughing at the girl, she's certain she's been that girl before. "do you want some help getting to your room?" she offers after a few moments. "it's technically on my way, so." being two floors up and slightly more sober, apparently, she didn't mind.

"Oh my god, babe!" Jane exclaimed, upon realizing who her hero for the night was. Seeing Evie in the hotel hallways was always a delight, and knowing that it was Evie that found her in this not very great state gave her some relief. "You caught the stream? Thank you!" She appreciated how supportive Evie was. "Oh, you bet, I am so hungry I could eat this entire thing in one sitting." Jane often forgot to eat whenever she was in front of the camera, focusing on her games and talking to her viewers. "How was your day? Had a good one?" Jane asked, taking this opportunity to catch up with Evie after a long day of interacting only with viewers.

she couldn't help but laugh softly at the other's reaction and she grinned at the recognition. she adored jane, truth be told. "of course, i wouldn't miss it." she waves off the thanks. she could understand the hunger, knowing what it felt like when she forgot a meal or got so focused on something she forgot to eat. "i've had some of those nights... totally understand. definitely not after such a long stream, though." she laughs softly. she briefly recalls her day before answering jane's question. "it's been a good one, in more ways than one. now i'm ready to relax." she admits as the elevator arrives.

OPEN STARTER!! @arconiastarters location: hotel hallways time: late night / early morning relationship: any, stranger or close friends

Twenty-four-hour streams are things that Jane knew she could only do about once or twice a year, otherwise, she would go crazy. As much as Jane loved her job and loved the fact that she could play games for a living, doing it for twenty-four hours straight could make her burn out. After ending her stream, Jane runs down to the nearby convenience store to splurge on junk food. Hey, she deserved it, didn't she? It didn't matter that it was an ungodly hour of the night, Jane wanted her chips and chips she would get. But one problem--with her haul costing her both of her hands, Jane had trouble getting the elevator. Turning around to the sound of footsteps approaching her, she looked at them with an embarrassed grin, almost guilty of the sin of being caught with bags of junk food. "Hi there. Elevator, please?"

evie's nights were often spontaneously planned. she wasn't fond of a strict schedule. however, it was more often than not that she found herself getting drinks and spending the night out. of course, she had somewhat of a schedule but mainly, she liked the freedom of being able to get up and go. tonight was no exception, most of it spent dancing and sipping on lighter drinks. she had of course seen jane's stream on and off throughout the day. she did enjoy watching her friend game, but a twenty four hour stream was long. as she returns to the hotel, she spots a familiar face having trouble at the elevator, she can't help a laughing just a little at the sight. "in need of snacks?" she asks playfully, raising a brow as she pressed the door for the elevator. "you were on fire tonight."
